Gift, also known as Pack or Bundle, aircraft are vehicles in the game that are unable to be purchased straight from the game's interface, requiring it to either be purchased from the Gaijin Store, given out during events or in promotions.

- A-26C-45 — Obtainable as a reward for purchasing an MSI notebook computer, or as a reward during two 2013 contests and a 2016 Facebook contest. This vehicle is currently unobtainable.
- A-26C-45DT — PlayStation 4 exclusive when an aircraft bundle is purchased.
- AU-1 — It was introduced during Update 1.97 "Viking Fury" as a reward for the 2020 "Space Race" event. It is currently only available on the War Thunder Market.
- AV-8A — It was introduced in Update "New Power" and is purchasable as a premium pack in the Gaijin store.
- Bong's P-38J-15 — Obtained during the 2016 "Chronicles of World War II" after completing 22 "Aircraft Tasks". It is currently only available on the War Thunder Market.
- Bostwick's P-47M-1-RE — It was introduced during Update 1.49 "Weapons of Victory", purchasable as a 2015 Weapons of Victory pack and later as a 2019 Black Friday Sale pack. It was discontinued in the store after the 2020 May Sale, but has since been made available either for purchase in the store or in-game with Golden Eagles for specific US mini-events. This vehicle is currently unobtainable.
- F-5A — It was introduced during Update "Direct Hit" as a reward for the 2021 Export Order event. It is currently only available on the War Thunder Market.
- F-5C — It was introduced in Update "Red Skies" and is purchasable as a premium pack in the Gaijin store.
- F-86F-35 — It was introduced in Update 1.85 "Supersonic" and is purchasable as a premium pack in the Gaijin store. It was removed after War Thunder's 9th Anniversary sale. This vehicle is currently unobtainable.
- F2G-1 — It was introduced during Update "New Power" as a reward for the Battle Pass: Season I, 75th Anniversary of the Great Victory. It is currently only available on the War Thunder Market.
- F4D-1 — It was introduced during Update "Danger Zone" as a reward for the 2022 Summer Quest event. It is currently only available on the War Thunder Market.
- F4U-4B VMF-214 — Obtainable as an Xbox exclusive vehicle by purchasing the F4U-4B Corsair pack on the Microsoft Store.
- F7F-3 — It was introduced during Update 1.61 "Road to Glory" in the Operation S.U.M.M.E.R. event of 2016. It is currently only available on the War Thunder Market.
- F11F-1 — Vehicle introduced during Update "Starfighters", obtainable as a reward for the 2020 Operation S.U.M.M.E.R. event. It is currently only available on the War Thunder Market.
- FJ-4B VMF-232 — It was introduced in Update 1.79 "Project X" as the main reward for the 2018 Good Old S.U.M.M.E.R event. It is currently only available on the War Thunder Market.
- Kingcobra (USA) — It was introduced Update 1.77 "Advancing Storm" during the "Flying Serpent, Crouching Tiger" event spanning between 31 March to 03 April 2018. It is currently only available on the War Thunder Market.
- Lanovski's P-47M-1-RE — This aircraft was introduced in Update 1.83 "Masters of the Sea" but has only been made available for purchase in-game () for specific Polish related mini-events and is currently unobtainable.
- P-26A-34 — Obtainable once in the 2014 Thanksgiving sale as a reward for buying two discounted packs, the second in the 2015 US Independence Day event as a prize in a tournament. It is currently only available on the War Thunder Market.
- P-38K — It was introduced during Update 1.53 "Firestorm" when it became available as part of a Christmas Sale Bundle in 2015. It has since been made available for various sales and Allied themed events, but is currently unobtainable.
- P-40C — It was introduced in Update 1.75 "La Résistance" and obtainable during the 2017 "Festive Quest" event. It was also obtainable in the Warbond shop during the 2021 Battle Pass Season I as a random prize from the Battle trophy (Gift vehicle chest). It is currently only available on the War Thunder Market.
- P-40E-1 TD — It was introduced during Update "New Power" as a reward for watching War Thunder streams on Twitch.tv along with a unique skin for the vehicle. This vehicle is currently unobtainable.
- P-43A-1 — It was introduced during Update 1.69 "Regia Aeronautica" in the Operation S.U.M.M.E.R. event of 2017. It is currently only available on the War Thunder Market.
- P-51A — Obtainable through the 2014 Thunder League tournament through completing 5 Sky Challenges or by the stream giveaways. This vehicle is currently unobtainable.
- P-51D-10 — It was introduced during Update 1.49 "Weapons of Victory" and purchasable as a 2015 Weapons of Victory pack that was removed during Update 1.57 "Battle March". It has since been made available for various sales, in game for and Allied themed events, but is currently unobtainable.
- P-51D-20-NA — Obtainable by purchasing the Mustang Pack.
- P-59A — Obtainable as a reward in the Summer 2019 Operation H.E.A.T event. It is currently only available on the War Thunder Market.
- P-61A-1 — It was introduced in Update 1.57 "Battle March" as a purchasable premium. It was removed after the July 2021 Economy Update. It has periodically been made available in the store as part of the Black Friday pack. This vehicle is currently unobtainable.
- PBM-3 "Mariner" — It was introduced during Update 1.85 "Supersonic" and was obtainable as reward for the 2019 Sea Voyage event. This vehicle is currently unobtainable.
- PV-2D — It was introduced in Update 1.67 "Assault", during the 2017 World War Two: Chronicle event, unlocked after obtaining 6 Chronicle Awards. It was later obtainable at the end of the 2019 Operation "Shipyard" by buying a "Shipyard" trophy. It is currently only available on the War Thunder Market.
- Rasmussen's P-36A — Used to be obtained through the Pacific Advanced Pack DLC pack as an exclusive bonus if purchased through Steam. Currently can be purchased in the US Beginner's Pack.
- XF5F — Obtainable during several events in 2014, 2016 and 2017. It is currently only available on the War Thunder Market.
- XP-38G — Originally purchasable in the Gaijin Store in the USA Pacific Campaign (1941-1942) pack. Removed during Update "Raining Fire" and replaced by the YP-38. This vehicle is currently unobtainable.
- YP-38 — Introduced during Update "Raining Fire" and replaced the XP-38G as part of the USA Pacific Campaign (1941-1942) (YP-38) pack. It was removed from the store at the end of the 2023 Summer sale. This vehicle is currently unobtainable.
Germany
- Ar 196 A-3 — It was introduced as a reward for the Operation S.U.M.M.E.R. 2020 events. This vehicle is currently unobtainable.
- Bf 109 E-7/U2 — Introduced as a reward in the 2015 Thunder League. later was part of a trophy chest in warbonds. It is currently only available on the War Thunder Market.
- Bf 109 G-2 — Introduced as a Romanian Air Force version of the G-2, as part of the "Gustav" premium pack in the Gaijin store for Update 1.43. This vehicle is currently unobtainable.
- Bf 109 Z — Obtained via a purchasable pack in Update 1.79 "Project X", it was removed after the 6th War Thunder Anniversary sale. It was has been temporarily brought back for sales and German related mini-events. This vehicle is currently unobtainable.
- Bf 110 C-6 — Obtainable as a reward in the Summer 2019 Operation H.E.A.T event. It is currently only available on the War Thunder Market.
- C.200 serie 3 (Germany) — It was introduced as part of the Open Beta Test, prior to Update 1.27 in the German aviation tree. In Update 1.69 "Regia Aeronautica", the C.200 as well as the other Italian planes in the German tree were introduced in the new Italian tree, were no longer researchable in the German tree. The planes were displayed in the researchable German tree until they were moved to the premium/gift section after the implementation of Update 1.97 "Viking Fury".
- C.200 serie 7 (Germany) — Removed in Update 1.69 with the introduction of the Italian tree
- C.202 (Germany) — Removed in Update 1.69 with the introduction of the Italian tree

- Fw 189 A-1 — It was introduced during Update 1.61 "Road to Glory" in the "Operation S.U.M.M.E.R." event of 2016. It is currently only available on the War Thunder Market.
- Fw 190 C — Was obtainable as a reward during the 2018-19 Festive Quest event for 10 Christmas toys for pilots. It is currently only available on the War Thunder Market.
- Fw 190 D-13 — Obtainable by purchasing the Dora Pack through the Gaijin store.
- G.50 AS serie 7 (Germany) — Removed in Update 1.69 with the introduction of the Italian tree
- G.50 serie 2 (Germany) — Removed in Update 1.69 with the introduction of the Italian tree
- Hawk H-75A-2 (Germany) — It was introduced during Update 1.89 "Imperial Navy" as a reward for the first public season of the World War Mode in 2019. Only obtainable through the Marketplace.
- He 51 B-2/H — Was given as one of the presents on 2014 War Thunder's birthday and later on 2015 Day of German Unity. It is currently only available on the War Thunder Market.
- He 51 C-1/L — Was introduced in the start of the Open Beta Test prior to Update 1.27. Has since become unavailable in-game and is a hidden vehicle.
- He 112 B-2/U2 — It was given away after purchasing 3 packs during the 2014 Thanksgiving Event. It is currently only available on the War Thunder Market.
- He 162 A-1 — It was introduced in Update 1.73 "Vive la France" as an event aircraft. The requirement to win the He 162 A-1 was to be in the top 8 in the 1 vs 1 Victory Tournaments or 5 vs 5 Victory Tournaments. It is currently only available on the War Thunder Market.
- Hs 129 B-2 (Romania) — It was introduced as a premium pack in Update 1.41.27. It is no longer obtainable but an identical plane can be purchased in the Italian tree.
- Ju 388 J — Was obtainable as second-tier reward during the Battlefield Engineer event of 2019. It is currently only available on the War Thunder Market.
- La-5FN (Germany) — It has been in the game since the start of the Open Beta Test as a purchasable premium. It was removed after the July 2021 Economy Update.
- Marcolin's C.R.42 CN (Germany) — Was a premium starter plane for Germany until Update 1.69 "Regia Aeronautica" with the introduction of the Italian Airtree when it was replaced by Flegel's Bf 109 A.
- Me 262 A-2a — Was obtainable in the 2016 Winter Holiday for the completion of 10 pilot stages. It is currently only available on the War Thunder Market.
- MiG-21 SPS-K — Introduced during Update "Ground Breaking" as a purchasable pack. It was removed from the store at the end of the 2023 May Sale. It has been temporarily made available for purchase in-game with during certain mini-events. This vehicle is currently unobtainable.
- MiG-23MF (Germany) — Introduced during Update "Winged Lions" as a reward for the 2021 Operation W.I.N.T.E.R. event. It is currently only available on the War Thunder Market.
- P-47D (Germany) — Was obtainable for Golden Eagles until Update "New Power", when it was replaced by the P-47D-16 RE (Germany). This vehicle is currently unobtainable.

- Sea Hawk Mk.100 — It was introduced as a premium pack in Update 1.87 "Locked On" as a purchasable pack through the Gaijin store. It was removed from the store after the 2021 May Sale. The Sea Hawk Mk.100 has since been occasionally purchasable for Golden Eagles for specific German events like the 2021 "German Unity Day" mini-event. This vehicle is currently unobtainable.
- Tempest Mk V (Germany) — It was introduced in Update 1.43 as a purchasable premium. It was removed after the 9th Anniversary Sale. This vehicle is currently unobtainable.

- Dolgushin's La-7 — Introduced during Update 1.49 "Weapons of Victory" and purchasable as a Weapons of Victory pack. It has since been made available for various sales and Allied themed events, but is currently unobtainable.
- Fw 190 D-9 (USSR) — It was introduced in Update 1.37 as a purchasable premium . It was removed after the 9th Anniversary Sale. This vehicle is currently unobtainable.
- Golovachev's Yak-9M — Introduced during Update 1.49 "Weapons of Victory" and purchasable as a Weapons of Victory pack. It has since been made available for various sales and Allied themed events, but is currently unobtainable.
- I-29 — Introduced during Update 1.73 "Vive la France" as part of a vehicle giveaway on War Thunder's 5th anniversary. It is currently only available on the War Thunder Market.

- IL-2 M-82 — Introduced during Update "Starfighters" as a reward for World War Mode Season 3: Road to the West. It is currently only available on the War Thunder Market.

- La-174 — A rare jet fighter that has only been obtainable during a 2014 and 2017 mini-event commemorating Semyon Lavochkin's birthday on September 11. It is currently only available on the War Thunder Market.
- LaGG-3-4 — Introduced with the Open Beta Test, it is not obtainable, only given to developers and people who have contributed to the game in a large manner.
- LaGG-3-23 — Was given as one of the presents on 2014 War Thunder's Anniversary. This vehicle is currently unobtainable.
- LaGG-3-34 — Is purchasable during some special events from the Gaijin Store. It is currently only available on the War Thunder Market.
- MBR-2-M-34 — Introduced during Update 1.57 "Battle March" and was obtainable during the 2016 Chronicles of World War II event after completing 15 "Aircraft Tasks". It is currently only available on the War Thunder Market.
- MiG-15bis ISH — Introduced as a premium pack in the Gaijin store in Update 1.85 "Supersonic", it was removed from sale after the 2019 Birthday sale. The MiG-15bis ISH has been since made available for purchase in-game () during the 2021 Day of the Russian Aerospace Forces mini-event. This vehicle is currently unobtainable.
- MiG-17AS — Introduced as a purchasable pack during Update 1.91 "Night Vision". It was removed from the store at the end of the 2022 May Sale. It has been temporarily made available for purchase in-game with during certain mini-events, but is currently unobtainable.
- MiG-21PFM — Introduced during Update "Hot Tracks" as a reward for the 2020 Operation W.I.N.T.E.R. event. It is currently only available on the War Thunder Market.
- P-39Q-15 (USSR) — It was obtained for free by players participating in the Alpha testing for Airplanes for a year or more. This vehicle is currently unobtainable.
- P-63A-10 (USSR) — Introduced in Update 1.41 as one of the 2014 Summertime Madness rewards. This vehicle is currently unobtainable.
- P-63C-5 (USSR) — Reward for completing the "Christmas/New Year" quests in the Winter Holiday marathon. This vehicle is currently unobtainable.
- Pe-2-205 — It was made available for purchase in the store as a Peshka starter kit since 28 September 2012 and was taken off the Gaijin store after the Clearance sale in November 2016. It has been temporarily made available for purchase in-game with during certain USSR related mini-events, but is currently unobtainable.
- Po-2 — Originally in the game as part of the researchable tree until removed. Has since only been obtainable events, most notably in the 2017 Halloween event and 2018 Halloween event, where the top 1,000 players in the respective tournaments could earn the plane. This vehicle is currently unobtainable.
- Po-2 Night Witch — It is a special race event variant of the legendary Po-2 Soviet biplane stripped of its armament. It can only be flown in the yearly Halloween race mini-events.
- Pokryshkin's P-39N-0 (USSR) — Available annually for purchase on Alexander Pokryshkin's birthday (19 March). This vehicle is currently unobtainable.
- SB 2M-103 MV-3 — Part of the game since before the Open Beta Test, this plane was removed upon Update 1.37 due to redundancy.

- Spitfire Mk IXc (USSR) — Available with special events. This vehicle is currently unobtainable.

- TIS MA — Was obtainable in the 2019 Operation F.R.O.S.T.. It is currently only available on the War Thunder Market.
- Tu-2 — Introduced before Update 1.17 and was obtained for free by players participating in the Closed Beta for Airplanes (2013 or before). This vehicle is currently unobtainable.
- Yak-3T — This aircraft was introduced in Update 1.67 "Assault" during the 2017 World War Two: Chronicle events, unlocked after obtaining 11 Chronicle Awards. This vehicle is currently unobtainable.
- Yak-38 — Introduced in Update "New Power" and as a purchasable premium pack in the Gaijin store. It was removed from the store at the end of the 2022 Summer Sale. This vehicle is currently unobtainable.
- Yer-2 (M-105) TAT — Removed in Update 1.37 since it was near identical to the Yer-2 M-105.

- Boomerang Mk II (Great Britain) — Was part of the game since the start of the Open Beta Test as a purchasable premium. It was removed during the 9th Anniversary Sale. - Boston Mk I (Great Britain) — It is an event aircraft. It is currently only available on the War Thunder Market.
- Buccaneer S.1 — It was introduced during Update "Red Skies" as a reward for the 2021 Summer Landing event. It is currently only available on the War Thunder Market.
- D.520 (Great Britain) — This aircraft was purchasable in the D.520 Starter Pack, from the Gaijin store. This vehicle is currently unobtainable.
- D.521 (Great Britain) — This aircraft was introduced in the game during the Open Beta session during the 13 June 2013 event "Vive la Liberté!" and remains as an event vehicle today. This vehicle is currently unobtainable.
- DB-7 (Great Britain) — Was given as one of the presents on 2014 War Thunder's birthday. It is currently only available on the War Thunder Market.
- Gladiator Mk IIF — Originally in the game as part of the researchable tree until removed.
- Gladiator Mk IIS — Originally in the game as part of the researchable tree until removed. Was obtainable during the 2015 Gladiator Glory event.
- Hunter FGA.9 — It was introduced in Update 1.93 "Shark Attack" and is purchasable as a premium pack in the Gaijin store. It was removed after the 9th Anniversary Sale. - Hurricane Mk.I/L FAA M — It was introduced during Update "Raining Fire" in honour of the 80th Anniversary of the Battle of Britain. This vehicle is currently unobtainable.
- Martlet Mk IV — It was introduced in Update 1.79 "Project X" as secondary reward for the 2018 Good Old S.U.M.M.E.R event. It is currently only available on the War Thunder Market.
- MB.5 — It was introduced in Update 1.77 "Advancing Storm". Currently only available to be purchased on PC platforms. It was removed from the store after the 2019 Victory Day Sale. It was part of the "His Majesty's Finest" bundle for the 2018 "Royal Air Force Centenary". It lost its gift status as it was reintroduced as a purchasable premium for Golden Eagles after War Thunder's 7th Anniversary.
- Meteor F Mk.8 Reaper — It was introduced in Update 1.85 "Supersonic" as a premium pack in the Gaijin store, but was discontinued after War Thunder's 7th Anniversary. It lost its gift status when it was reintroduced as a premium purchasable for Golden Eagles after War Thunder's 8th Anniversary.
- Plagis' Spitfire LF Mk IXc — It was introduced as a premium pack in Update 1.49 "Weapons of Victory" and was removed from the Gaijin store in May 2016. It has also been available in-game for Golden Eagles for certain British related mini-events and is currently unobtainable.

- A6M6c — Introduced during Update "Red Skies" as a reward for Battle Pass: Season IV, "Fearless Voltigeur". It is currently only available on the War Thunder Market.
- F-86F-40 JASDF (Japan) — Introduced as premium pack in the Gaijin store in Update 1.87 "Locked On". It was removed from the store after the 2022 Summer Sale. It lost its gift status as it was reintroduced as a purchasable premium for Golden Eagles in Update "Drone Age".
- J2M4 Kai — Introduced in Update 1.37 "Big Guns" as a purchasable premium. It was removed after the 9th Anniversary Sale. It has been temporarily made available made available for purchase in-game with during certain Japanese mini-events, but is currently unobtainable.
- J6K1 — Was obtainable in the 2019 Operation F.R.O.S.T.. It is currently only available on the War Thunder Market.
- Ki-10-II C — Was introduced in the Open Beta Test prior to Update 1.27. Has since been removed in-game, and is only seen by those who acquired it before its removal.
- Ki-21-I hei — Was obtainable in the 2016 Winter Holiday after completing 6 pilot stages. It is currently only available on the War Thunder Market.

- CR.32 bis — Was available as a purchasable pack on the Gaijin store from its introduction in Update 1.69 "Regia Aeronautica" before It was removed after the 5th Anniversary sale, but became available again in the Warbonds shop in the trophy chest in April 2018. It is currently only available on the War Thunder Market.
