The J26 David is one of the American P-51B-7s that Sweden captured after it landed due to a lack of fuel in the first half of 1944. It began flying with the Swedish Air Force in spring 1945 after being purchased from the United States, along with several other Mustangs, including the P-51D. J26 David did not participate in any conflicts alongside Sweden, and the exact years of its service are unknown. It is believed that this aircraft was scrapped in the late 1940s, along with the rest of the Swedish P-51Bs.
The J26 David was introduced in Battle Pass Season 11, "Her Majesty's Hussar". Unlike the J26 from the research tree, the J26 David has fewer machine guns and can carry two powerful American bombs weighing up to 500 pounds. It also has a different cockpit. Overall, David is a fast, maneuverable fighter with weak armament.
