Gift, also known as Pack or Bundle, ground vehicles are vehicles in the game that are unable to be purchased straight from the game's interface, requiring either it be purchased from the Gaijin Store, given out during events or in promotions.
Note: Vehicles that were initially only available in events or the Gaijin store, but has been made available again as a purchasable by Golden Eagles are still listed.
The vehicles considered gift and their obtainable methods are:
USA
- Grant I — Introduced in Update 1.45 "Steel Generals" as a starter pack for entering the closed beta test of USA tanks.
- LVT(A)(4) ZIS-2 (USA) — Introduced during Update 1.65 "Way of the Samurai" as a reward for the Winter 2016 "War Thunder Chronicles" event.
- LVT(A)(4) — Introduced during Update 1.97 "Viking Fury" as a reward for the Victory Day event.
- M3A1 (USMC) — Introduced in Update 1.45 "Steel Generals" as a starter pack for entering the closed beta test of USA tanks.
- M5A1 (5th arm.div.) — Introduced in Update 1.70.1945 "Weapons of Victory" in the Gaijin Store, but was later removed from sale.
- M8 Greyhound — Introduced during Update 1.73 "Vive la France" as part of a vehicle giveaway on War Thunder's 5th anniversary.

- Merkava Mk.3D (USA) — Introduced during Update "Raining Fire" as a reward for the 2020 Wargame "Strategist" event.
- T18E2 — Introduced in Update 1.77 "Advancing Storm" as a reward during the 2018 World War Two Chronicles for completing 6 "Chronicle awards" in ground forces.
- T29 — Introduced in Update 1.59 "Flaming Arrows" and available on the Gaijin Store.
- T30 — Introduced in Update 1.85 "Supersonic" as a reward for obtaining 10 Christmas toys for tankers during the 2018 Festive Quest event.
- XM-1 (Chrysler) — Introduced in Update 1.79 "Project X" as an Xbox exclusive vehicle and available from the Microsoft store.
- XM-1 (GM) — Introduced in Update 1.79 "Project X" and available on the Gaijin Store.
- XM8 - It was introduced during Update "Ixwa Strike" and gifted as a reward for the 2021 "Future Technology" crafting event.
Germany
- Class 3 (P) — Introduced during Update "Hot Tracks" as a reward for the 2020 Operation W.I.N.T.E.R. event.
- E-100 — The E-100 could only be obtained in the special tournament events, making its acquirement rare to the point of being one of the rarest tanks in the game. It was first available in the "Teutonic Giants" tournament held from a time span of January to March 2016. It was made available again in War Thunder's 5th Anniversary tournaments, then again in the War Thunder's 6th Birthday tournaments.
- Ersatz M10 — Introduced during Update 1.75 "La Résistance" as a reward for the 2017 Festive Quest event.
- Flakpanzer 341 — Originally a regular tech tree vehicle in the launch of Ground Forces in Update 1.43. It was made a gift vehicle in Update 1.91 "Night Vision".
- KV-IB (Germany) — Originally only available by purchasing selected MSI products in Russia, however over time it became more openly available in events.
- During the 2015 "Summertime Madness" event, running from August 6th to 16th, the KV-1B could be won by completing "Madness on the ground” tasks. The more daily challenges, which was completed by the player. The higher the chance of obtaining it was; However, it was not guaranteed: even if all tasks were completed.
- In March 2016, the KV-1B was obtainable in the "War Thunder:100" team deathmatch event
- The vehicle was made available again in the Warbond Shop as part of the War Thunder 4th Anniversary in November 2016 with a price of 3,100 warbonds.

- M4 748 (a) (Germany) — Introduced as a starter pack during the closed beta test of Ground Forces, available for 49$/€ as a standalone and 99$/€ for both this vehicle and the T-34 (Prototype). This starter pack was removed on 30 June 2014 after the release of Update 1.41. The tank was made available almost four years later as part of War Thunder 5th anniversary during the store discount period, with 500 up for sale alongside the T-34 (Prototype) for $59.99. Another 2,020 units went on sale in commemoration of the 30th anniversary of German Unity in 2020.
- Maus — Originally a regular tech tree vehicle in the launch of Ground Forces in Update 1.47 "Big Guns". It was made a gift vehicle in Update 1.91 "Night Vision".
- mKPz M47 G — Was available in the Gaijin Store. It was discontinued after the 2019 Summer sales, and later reintroduced as an in-game premium purchasable for 8,200 GE.
- Panther II — Originally a regular tech tree vehicle in the launch of Ground Forces in Update 1.41. It was made a gift vehicle in Update 1.91 "Night Vision".
- Pz.Sfl.Ic — Originally part of a collection bundle with a Bf 109 in Gaijin Store, later was bundled with the Sd.Kfz.140/1 as part of a Steam bundle. Reintroduced into the Gaijin Store as the "Scout Pack".
- Sd.Kfz. 140/1 — Part of the Sd.Kfz.140/1 pack in Gaijin Store. Later was bundled with the Pz.Sfl.Ic on the Steam Store page.
- Sd.Kfz.234/1 — Introduced during Update 1.97 "Viking Fury" as a reward for the 2020 "Space Race" event.
- Sd.Kfz.234/2 TD — It was introduced during Update "Ixwa Strike" as a reward for watching Enlisted steams on Twitch.tv.
- Sd.Kfz.234/3 — Introduced during Update 1.79 "Project X" as a reward for obtaining 2 Marks of Distinction for tankers in the 2018 Good Old S.U.M.M.E.R event.
- Sd.Kfz.234/4 — Introduced during Update 1.69 "Regia Aeronautica" as a reward for obtaining 7 tanker Marks of Distinction during the 2017 Operation S.U.M.M.E.R event. - Tiger (Germany) — Introduced during Update 1.77 "Advancing Storm" as a reward for the April 2018 "Flying Serpent, Crouching Tiger" event.
- Tiger II (10.5 cm Kw.K) — Originally a regular tech tree vehicle in the launch of Ground Forces in Update 1.41. It was made a gift vehicle in Update 1.91 "Night Vision".
- Tiger II (H) Sla.16 — Introduced in Update 1.57 "Battle March" and available in the Gaijin Store.
- VFW — Introduced in Update 1.87 "Locked On" as a reward for the 2019 Battlefield Engineer event.
- VK 45.01 (P) — First revealed during the dev server (v1.44) period before the release of Update 1.45 "Steel Generals". When the update was released, the tank was not made available. In 2015, it was a reward for completing the "Christmas/New Year" quests in the Winter Holiday marathon. In July 2016, it was available again as a reward in "Battle of Kursk" tournament during "Summer Maneuvers".
- VT1-2 — Introduced during Update 1.91 "Night Vision" as a reward for the 2019 Operation Shipyard event.
USSR
- BA-11 — Introduced during Update 1.95 "Northern Wind" as a reward for obtaining 3 "stars" during World War Mode Season 2: Attack from the Sea.
- BM-13N — Introduced during Update 1.67 "Assault" as part of a Victory Day Event known as "KATYUSHA" during the span of May 6 - 10. The vehicle was unlocked during the event by destroying five vehicles using the BM-8-24.
- BT-7 (F-32) — Obtainable as a reward in the Summer 2019 Operation H.E.A.T.
- IS-2 "Revenge" — Introduced in Update 1.49 "Weapons of Victory" as a purchasable pack. It was discontinued after the 2017 Victory Day sales, and later re-released for the 7th Anniversary Sale as a premium purchasable in-game ().
- IS-6 — Introduced in Update 1.67 "Assault" and available in the Gaijin Store.
- IS-7 — Introduced during Update 1.79 "Project X" as a reward for the 2018 Operation S.U.M.M.E.R event.
- KV-1E — Introduced in Update 1.41.27. The tank was initially purchasable as part of premiums packs in the Gaijin store but was removed in January 2018. The KV-1E has been since made available for purchase in-game () for specific Soviet/Russian mini-events like the 2019 "Defender of the Fatherland" event or the 2020 "Tankers' Day" event.
- KV-2 (1940) — Introduced during the Closed Beta Test for Ground Forces before Update 1.41. It was later made available during the 2016 WW2 Chronicles event, unlocked after completing 14 "Tank Tasks", and during the 2017 Festive Quest, unlocked after gathering 10 individual Christmas Toys if the total player population gathered 500,000 Christmas lights.
- KV-2 (ZiS-6) — Introduced in Update 1.59 "Flaming Arrows" as a purchasable pack. It was discontinued after the 6th Anniversary Sale.

- MK-II "Matilda" (USSR) — Originally a Chronicles of WW2 Event vehicle.
- MK-IX "Valentine" (USSR) — It was introduced during Update 1.95 "Northern Wind" as a special Valentine's Day vehicle. The tank was made available for purchase in-game () for specific mini-events like the 2020 Valentine's Day and the 2021 Valentine's Day events.
- Object 120 — Introduced late in Update 1.71 "New E.R.A", and available in the Gaijin Store.
- Object 279 — Introduced during Update 1.97 "Viking Fury" as a reward for the 2020 "Space Race" event.
- Phòng không T-34 (USSR) — Introduced during the 2017 Operation SUMMER that took place between 28 July 2017 and 28 August 2017. It was obtained with 13 tanker marks of distinction. - SU-76M (5th Gv.Kav.Corps) — Given out as one of two obtainable awards for 2016 Tankers Day. Later became part of the Battle Trophy I (Vehicle) item in the Warbonds Shop.
- SU-85A — Introduced in Update 1.85 "Supersonic" as a reward during the 2018 Festive Quest for obtaining 5 Christmas toys for tankers.
- T-10A — Introduced during Update "New Power" as a reward for Battle Pass: Season I.
- T-26E — Introduced during the closed beta test for ground forces as a starter pack. It was discontinued after the 2017 Victory Day sales.
- T-34 (1st Gv.T.Br.) — Originally sold as part of a bundle on Gaijin store called the "Guards Pack".
- T-34 (Prototype) — Introduced as a starter pack during the closed beta test of Ground Forces, available for 49$/€ as a standalone and 99$/€ for both this vehicle and the M4 748(a). This starter pack was removed on 30 June 2014 after the release of Update 1.41. The tank was made available almost five years later as part of War Thunder 5th anniversary during the store discount period, with 500 up for sale alongside the M4 748(a) for $59.99. Reportedly these were sold out within 12 hours.

- T-V (USSR) — It was available as a prize during the 2016 "Thunder League" eSports tournament, first as a giveaway prize for watching the Twitch stream, but then every Dog-Tag owner for the tournament earned one when the tournament prize pool reached its $50,000 goal.
- Type 62 (USSR) — Introduced during the 2016 "War Thunder Chronicle" that took place from 23 December 2016 to 16 January 2017. It was obtained via completing 10 tasks as part of the event and is no longer obtainable. The Type 62 was later released as a regular vehicle of the Chinese ground forces in Update 1.91 "Night Vision".

- A13 Mk II 1939 — Introduced in Update 1.53 "Firestorm" as a purchasable pack before being discontinued sometime around Update 1.57. It was reintroduced temporarily in the 2017 April Fools event with the "A Very British Exit" Pack.
