Gift, also known as Pack or Bundle, ground vehicles are vehicles in the game that are unable to be purchased straight from the game's interface, requiring either it be purchased from the Gaijin Store, given out during events or in promotions.
Note: Vehicles that were initially only available in events or the Gaijin store, but has been made available again as a purchasable by Golden Eagles are still listed.
The vehicles considered gift and their obtainable methods are:
USA
- Grant I — Introduced in Update 1.45 "Steel Generals" as a starter pack for entering the closed beta of USA tanks.
- LVT(A)(4) ZIS-2 (USA) — Introduced in Update 1.65 "Way of the Samurai" during the Winter 2016 "War Thunder Chronicle" as the first tier reward.
- M3A1 (USMC) — Introduced in Update 1.45 "Steel Generals" as a starter pack for entering the closed beta of USA tanks.
- M8 Greyhound — Introduced during Update 1.73 "Vive la France" as part of a vehicle giveaway on War Thunder's 5th anniversary.
- M8A1 — Introduced during Update 1.45 "Steel Generals" as a reward for completing the "War Thunder Christmas Special" in 2014. The vehicle was made available again in the Warbond Shop as part of the War Thunder 4th Anniversary in November 2016 with a price of 2,900 warbonds.
- M24 (TL) — Introduced during the Thunder League as a reward for completing 5 Tank challenges or as part of the giveaways from watching the live-stream broadcasts.
- T18E2 — Introduced in Update 1.77 "Advancing Storm" as a reward during the 2018 World War Two Chronicles for completing 6 "Chronicle awards" in ground forces.
- T30 — Introduced in Update 1.85 "Supersonic" as a reward during the 2018 Festive Quest for obtaining 10 Christmas toys for tankers.
Germany
- E-100 — The E-100 could only be obtained in the special tournament events, making its acquirement rare to the point of being one of the rarest tank in the game. It was first available in the "Teutonic Giants" tournament held from a time span of January to March 2016. It was made available again in War Thunder's 5th Anniversary tournaments, then again in the War Thunder's 6th Birthday tournaments.
- Ersatz M10 — Introduced during Update 1.75 "La Résistance" as an event Reward for the 2017 Festive Tasks Event.
- Flakpanzer 341 — Originally a regular tech tree vehicle in the launch of Ground Forces in Update 1.43. Made into a gift vehicle in Update 1.91 "Night Vision"
- KV-IB (Germany) — Originally only available by purchasing selected MSI products in Russia, however overtime it became more openly available in events.
- During the 2015 "Summertime Madness" event, running from August 6th to 16th, the KV-1B could be won by completing "Madness on the ground” tasks. The more daily challenges, which was completed by the player. The higher the chance of obtaining it was; However, it was not guaranteed: even if all tasks were completed.
- In March 2016, the KV-1B was obtainable in the "War Thunder:100" team deathmatch event
- The vehicle was made available again in the Warbond Shop as part of the War Thunder 4th Anniversary in November 2016 with a price of 3,100 warbonds.
- The vehicle was made available again in the Warbond Shop as part of the War Thunder 5th Anniversary in November 2017 with a price of 3,300 warbonds.

- M4 748 (a) (Germany) — Introduced as a starter pack during the closed beta test of Ground Forces, available for 49$/€ as a standalone and 99$/€ for both this vehicle and the T-34 (Prototype). This starter pack was removed on 30 June 2014 after the release of Update 1.41. The tank was made available almost five years later as part of War Thunder 5th anniversary during the store discount period, with 500 up for sale alongside the T-34 (Prototype) for $59.99.
- Maus — Originally a regular tech tree vehicle in the launch of Ground Forces in Update 1.47 "Big Guns". Made into a gift vehicle in Update 1.91 "Night Vision"
- mKPz M47 G — Was available in the Gaijin Store. It was discontinued after the 2019 Summer sales. Later reintroduced as an in-game premium purchasable for 8,200 GE.
- Panther II — Originally a regular tech tree vehicle in the launch of Ground Forces in Update 1.41. Made into a gift vehicle in Update 1.91 "Night Vision"
- Pz.II H — Originally part of a collection bundle with a Bf 109 in Gaijin Store, later was bundled with the Sd.Kfz.140/1 as part of a steam bundle. Reintroduced into the Gaijin Store as the "Scout Pack".
- Sd.Kfz. 140/1 — Part of the Sd.Kfz.140/1 pack in Gaijin Store. Later was bundled with the Pz.II H on the Steam Store page.
- Sd.Kfz.234/3 — Event vehicle for 2 Tankers Marks of Distinction in Good Old S.U.M.M.E.R
- Sd.Kfz.234/4 — Originally available during OPERATION S.U.M.M.E.R 2017 for Tankers marks of distinctions. Later became available as part of an assembly task for OPERATION S.U.M.M.E.R 2018 through exchanging the Assembled T-34E coupon.
- Tiger (Germany) — Introduced during Update 1.77 "Advancing Storm" as an event reward for the April 2018 "Flying Serpent, Crouching Tiger" event.
- Tiger II (10.5 cm Kw.K) — Originally a regular tech tree vehicle in the launch of Ground Forces in Update 1.41. Made into a gift vehicle in Update 1.91 "Night Vision"
- Tiger II (H) Sla.16 — Vehicle introduced in Update 1.57 "Battle March" and available in the Gaijin Store.
- VK 45.01 (P) — First revealed during the dev server (v1.44) period before the release of Update 1.45 "Steel Generals". When the update was released, the tank was not made available. In 2015, it was a reward for completing the "Christmas/New Year" quests in the Winter Holiday marathon. In July 2016, it was available again as a reward in "Battle of Kursk" tournament during "Summer Maneuvers".
Soviet Union
- BM-13N — It was introduced during Update 1.67 "Assault" as part of a Victory Day Event known as "KATYUSHA" during the span of May 06 - 10. The vehicle is unlocked during the event by destroying five vehicles using the BM-8-24.
- BT-7 (F-32) — Obtainable as a reward in the Summer 2019 Operation H.E.A.T.
- IS-2 "Revenge" — It was introduced in Update 1.49 "Weapons of Victory" as a purchasable pack. It was discontinued after the 2018 Victory Day sales. Later available in the game for 7,480 GE.
- IS-6 — Part of the IS-6 Bundle available in Gaijin store.
- IS-7 — Introduced with the OPERATION S.U.M.M.E.R 2018 Event, was the second prize vehicle obtainable in the event and was obtained by assembling components.
- KV-1E —
- KV-2 (1940) — It was introduced in during the Closed Beta Test for Ground Forces before Update 1.41. And Later made available during the 2016 WW2 Chronicles, unlocked after completing 14 "Tank Tasks", and during the 2017-18 Festive Quest, unlocked after gathering 10 individual Christmas Toys if the total player population gathers 500,000 Christmas lights.
- KV-2 (ZiS-6) — The KV-2(ZIS-6) was introduced in Update 1.59 "Flaming Arrows" as a gift vehicle and was available on the Gaijin store. Now discontinued.
- KV-220 — It was introduced during Update 1.61 "Road to Glory" in the "Operation S.U.M.M.E.R." event of 2016.
- M3 Medium (USSR) — Given out as one of two obtainable awards for 2016 Tankers Day. Later became part of the Battle Trophy II (Vehicle) item in the Warbonds Shop.
- MK-II «Matilda» (USSR) — Originally a Chronicles of WW2 Event vehicle.
- Object 120 — It was introduced late in Update 1.71 "New E.R.A", and available in the Gaijin Store.
- Object 279 — It was introduced in Update 1.97 "Viking Fury" during the 2020 Space Race crafting event.
- RBT-5 — Introduced during the 2015 Thunder League as a reward for supporting the winning Team or as a prize while watching the Twitch steams.
- SU-76M (5th Gv.Kav.Corps) — Given out as one of two obtainable awards for 2016 Tankers Day. Later became part of the Battle Trophy I (Vehicle) item in the Warbonds Shop.
- SU-85A — Introduced in Update 1.85 "Supersonic" as a reward during the 2018 Festive Quest for obtaining 5 Christmas toys for tankers.
- T-26E —
- T-34 (1st Gv.T.Br.) — Originally sold as part of a bundle on Gaijin store called the "Guards Pack".
- T-34 (Prototype) — Introduced as a starter pack during the closed beta test of Ground Forces, available for 49$/€ as a standalone and 99$/€ for both this vehicle and the M4 748(a). This starter pack was removed on 30 June 2014 after the release of Update 1.41. The tank was made available almost five years later as part of War Thunder 5th anniversary during the store discount period, with 500 up for sale alongside the M4 748(a) for $59.99. Reportedly these were sold out within 12 hours.
- T-34-85E — It was introduced in Update 1.49 "Weapons of Victory" as a purchasable pack. It was discontinued after the 2018 Victory Day sales.
- T-34E — Originally part of a bundle available on Gaijin Store before being discontinued. Later became available as part of an assembly task for OPERATION S.U.M.M.E.R 2018.
- T-55AM-1 — Vehicle introduced in Update 1.81 "The Valkyries" and available in the Gaijin Store.
- T-V (USSR) — It was available as a prize during the 2016 "Thunder League" eSports tournament, first as a giveaway prize for watching the Twitch stream, but then every Dog-Tag owner for the tournament earned one when the tournament prize pool reached its $50,000 goal.
- Type 62 (USSR) — It was introduced during the 2016 "War Thunder Chronicle" that took place from 23 December 2016 to 16 January 2017. It was obtained via completing 10 tasks as part of the event and is no longer obtainable. The Type 62 was later released as a regular vehicle of the Chinese ground forces in Update 1.91 "Night Vision".
- Type 65 (USSR) — It was introduced during the 2017 Operation SUMMER that took place between 28 July 2017 and 28 August 2017. It was obtained with 13 tanker marks of distinction. The Type 65 was later released as a regular vehicle of the Chinese ground forces in Update 1.91 "Night Vision".
Great Britain
- A13 Mk II 1939 — Introduced in Update 1.53 "Firestorm" as a purchasable pack before being discontinued sometime around Update 1.57. It was reintroduced temporarily in the 2017 April Fools event with the "A Very British Exit" Pack.
- Achilles (65 Rg.) —
- AEC Mk.II — It was introduced during Update 1.75 "La Résistance" in the 2017 "Festive Quest" that took place between 22 December 2017 to 22 January 2018. It was obtained via completing 7 tanker's Christmas toys.
- Black Prince — Introduced in Update 1.53 "Firestorm" as a purchasable pack. It was discontinued after the 2017 Christmas sales event.
- Centurion Mk.5 AVRE — It was introduced in Update 1.79 "Project X" and available in the Gaijin Store.
- Excelsior — Introduced in Update 1.67 "Assault" during the 2017 World War Two Chronicle Event as a reward after obtaining 11 Chronicle Awards for tankers.
- Firefly «Scorpion» — It was introduced in Update 1.53 "Firestorm" and is one of the first British tanks introduced in the game. Purchasable in-game for 4,000 GE
- Grant I (Great Britain) — It was introduced during Update 1.61 "Road to Glory" in the Operation S.U.M.M.E.R. event of 2016.
- Iron Duke IV —
- Sho't Kal Dalet (Great Britain) — It was introduced in Update 1.85 "Supersonic" and available in the Gaijin Store.
- Strv 81 (Rb.52) — It was introduced in Update 1.59 "Flaming Arrows" and was available from the Gaijin Store. It was removed from the store at the conclusion of the May 2020 sales.
- Rooikat 105 — It was introduced in Update 1.97 "Viking Fury" and available in the Gaijin Store.
Japan
- Chi-Ha Short Gun — Introduced as a pre-order pack prior to Update 1.65 "Way of the Samurai" on the War Thunder store. It was discontinued in November 2017 after Update 1.73 "Vive la France" but reintroduced at the end of October 2018 after Update 1.83 "Masters of the Sea" as purchasable in-game with GE. It was then made available through Warbonds in November 2019. It was reproposed in February 2020 in the store as beginner packs for the Japanese players alongside with the British.
- Heavy Tank No.6 (Japan) — Introduced as a pre-order pack prior to Update 1.65 "Way of the Samurai" on the War Thunder store. It was discontinued after the 2019 Summer sales.
- Ho-Ri Prototype — Introduced in Update 1.71 "New E.R.A." as a purchasable pack from the Gaijin Store. It was temporarily discontinued after the 2019-2020 New Year sales, but was brought back in the May 2020 sales as a purchasable via Golden Eagles.
- Type 74G — It was introduced in Update 1.87 "Locked On" and available in the Gaijin Store.
China
- M4A4 (1st PTG) — Introduced in Update 1.91 "Night Vision" as a purchasable pack from the Gaijin Store for access to the closed beta test of Chinese tanks.
- T-62 545 (China) — Introduced in Update 1.91 "Night Vision" as a purchasable pack from the Gaijin Store for access to the closed beta test of Chinese tanks. It was removed from the store at the conclusion of the May 2020 sales.
Italy
- 105/25 M43 "G.C.Leoncello" — Introduced in Update 1.85 "Supersonic" as a purchasable pack for access to the closed beta test of Italian tanks. It was discontinued after the 2019 Summer sales.
- AUBL/74 HVG — Obtainable as a reward in the Summer 2019 Operation H.E.A.T.
- M26 "D.C.Ariete" — Introduced in Update 1.73 "Vive la France" as a purchasable pack from the Gaijin Store. It was temporarily discontinued after the 7th anniversary sales, but was brought back in the May 2020 sales as a purchasable via Golden Eagles.
- M60A1 "D.C.Ariete" — Introduced in Update 1.85 "Supersonic" as a purchasable pack for access to the closed beta test of Italian tanks. It was removed in Update 1.87 "Locked On".

- AMX-50 Surblindé — It was introduced in Update 1.89 "Imperial Navy" as the highest reward of the first season "Recon under Fire" of the World War mode, but can also be bought on the War Thunder Market.
