The M151 is designed to be used against lightly armoured vehicles, for example tank destroyers or SPAA. However, larger SPAAs such as the FlaRakRad will require multiple hits to fully destroy, due to the low warhead size.
Pros and cons
Summarise and briefly evaluate the weaponry in terms of its characteristics and combat effectiveness. Mark pros and cons as a list.
Pros:
- Allows more precision munitions to be carried.
Cons:
- Small warhead size means that the M151 is not effective against MBTs and heavily armoured IFVs.
