Effective damage

The missile produces high explosive damage.

Comparison with analogues

Hydra 70 - The M151 is the Hydra 70 with a guidance kit, so they perform very similarly.

Max speed (m/s) 455 395

Explosive mass (kg) 1.04 0.44
Explosive mass (TNTe kg) 1.36 0.57
Armour penetration (mm) 18 41
Warhead type HE SAP-HE

Usage in battles

The M151 is designed to be used against lightly armoured vehicles, for example tank destroyers or SPAA. However, larger SPAAs such as the FlaRakRad will require multiple hits to fully destroy, due to the low warhead size.

Pros and cons

Summarise and briefly evaluate the weaponry in terms of its characteristics and combat effectiveness. Mark pros and cons as a list.

Pros:

  • Allows more precision munitions to be carried.

Cons:

  • Small warhead size means that the M151 is not effective against MBTs and heavily armoured IFVs.

History

Examine the history of the creation and combat usage of the weapon in more detail than in the introduction. If the historical reference turns out to be too long, take it to a separate article, taking a link to the article about the weapon and adding a block "/History" (example: https://wiki.warthunder.com/(Weapon-name)/History) and add a link to it here using the main template. Be sure to reference text and sources by using <ref></ref>, as well as adding them at the end of the article with <references />.

Media

Excellent additions to the article would be video guides, screenshots from the game, and photos.
