Description

The MiG-17AS is a gift rank VI Russian jet fighter with a battle rating of 9.0 (AB/RB/SB). It was introduced in Update 1.91 "Night Vision".

Pros:

• Good manoeuvrability at slow to moderate speeds
• Has access to two air-to-air missiles
• Access to premium rewards
• Better high-speed manoeuvrability than the MiG-15
• Doesn't rip its wings easily
• Good top speed, especially in a dive

Cons:

• Slow roll rate at high speeds
• Short-ranged missiles
• T-tail and framed canopy creates a blind spot to the rear (issue for simulator battles)
• Low ammo capacity for the guns
