Description
The 9M17M Falanga is a Soviet SACLOS-guided air-to-ground missile. It was introduced in Update 1.81 "The Valkyries".

The 9M17M Falanga is a SACLOS Guided ATGM used by the Mi-4AV and Mi-24A within War Thunder. It is guided by mouse and has a very slow flight speed, making it possible to people to dodge if they see it coming.
With a range of 4 km, the firing platform has to be pretty close to the battlefield to make a shot, risking exposure to anti-aircraft fire. Flight speed is 220 m/s, making it very slow.

Usage in battles
Position the helicopter using the missile behind cover, such as rocks, ridgelines, or buildings. Pop up over the cover and then fire the missile towards the target. Try to not stay exposed too long, and once the missile has reach its target, quickly withdraw back to cover to avoid becoming an easy target to anti-aircraft units.
