Effective damage
The AGM-65G's damage is devastating. The AGM-65G's ~50 kg warhead penetrates the target before detonating. This maximizes damage to internal components and prevents the explosion from being nullified by the in-game bug that sometimes occurs when a target is hit directly with a bomb. Combined with its pinpoint accuracy, the AGM-65G effectively guarantees destruction of the target
Comparison with analogues
Compared to the AGM-65D, the AGM-65G offers more consistent damage. While both missiles are extremely precises and can knock out an MBT in a single hit, the AGM-65G's penetrating explosive warhead is unaffected by Explosive Reactive Armor, which is extremely prevalent at top tier. This makes the AGM-65G more reliable against the targets of top tier.
