Gift ships
Gift, also known as Pack or Bundle, ships are vehicles in the game that are unable to be purchased straight from the game's interface, requiring either it be purchased from the Gaijin Store, given out during events or in promotions.
The vehicles considered gift and their obtainable methods are:
USA
- PT-109 — Available in a discontinued pre-order pack which also granted access to naval forces pre-beta testing sessions. It was removed from the Gaijin store once naval forces closed beta testing began in Update 1.79 "Project X". This vehicle is currently unobtainable.
- PT-658 — Introduced during Update "Ground Breaking" as a reward for Battle Pass: Season V, "River Hunter".
- PT-811 — Introduced in Update 1.95 "Northern Wind" during the Operation F.R.O.S.T. event. It is currently only available on the War Thunder Market.
- USS Baltimore — It was introduced during Update "Hot Tracks" as a reward for the 2020 Operation W.I.N.T.E.R. event. It is currently only available on the War Thunder Market.
- USS Bennion — Introduced in Update 1.79 "Project X" as an Xbox One exclusive vehicle. It was removed from sale sometime during War Thunder's 8th anniversary sale and is currently unobtainable.
- USS Cowell — Introduced in Update 1.79 "Project X" as a pre-order pack that granted access to naval forces closed beta testing. It was removed from the Gaijin store after the May 2020 sales, but it was still available on the PlayStation Store until sometime during War Thunder's 8th anniversary sale when it was removed from sale. The Cowell was temporarily made available made available for purchase in-game with GE () during the 2020 and 2021 US Navy Day events. This vehicle is currently unobtainable.
- USS Detroit — Introduced during Update "Red Skies" as a reward for Battle Pass: Season IV, "Fearless Voltigeur".
- USS Phelps — Introduced in Update 1.95 "Northern Wind" during the World War: season ”Attack from the Sea" event as a reward. It is currently only available on the War Thunder Market.
Germany
- Bussard — Introduced during Update "Red Skies" as a reward for the 2021 Summer Landing event. It is currently only available on the War Thunder Market.
- Jaguar — Introduced in Update 1.95 "Northern Wind" during the Operation F.R.O.S.T. event as a reward. It is currently only available on the War Thunder Market.
- Lübeck — Introduced in Update "Raining Fire" during the Wargame "Strategist" event. A coupon for the vehicle could be obtained by exchanging one "Secret documents" and one "Confidential documents" item. This vehicle is currently only available on the War Thunder Market.
- Prinz Eugen — Introduced as a premium pack in the Gaijin store in Update 1.95 "Northern Wind".
- S-204 Lang — Available in a discontinued pre-order pack which also granted access to naval forces pre-beta testing sessions. It was removed from the Gaijin store once naval forces closed beta testing began in Update 1.79 "Project X". This vehicle is currently unobtainable.
- T31 — It was introduced during Update 1.91 "Night Vision" as a Golden Eagle () premium. This vehicle was removed from sale with the restructure of the naval tech trees in Update "New Power" and is currently unobtainable.
- VS-8 — Obtainable as a limited 24-hour rental vehicle in November 2018 during an event testing naval mines. This vehicle was unobtainable until it returned in Update "Red Skies" as a premium vehicle available for purchase in-game with GE ().
- Z20 Karl Galster — Introduced in Update 1.79 "Project X" as a pre-order pack that granted access to naval forces closed beta testing. It was removed from the Gaijin store after the 2019-2020 New Years sales but was brought back after the May 2020 sales for purchase with Golden Eagles (). This vehicle was removed from sale with the restructure of the naval tech trees in Update "New Power" and is currently unobtainable.
- Z25 — Introduced during Update "Hot Tracks" as a reward for Battle Pass: Season II, "Steel Centurion".
Soviet Union
- Leningrad — Introduced in Update 1.85 "Supersonic" during the Sea Voyage event as a reward for obtaining 8 "Marks of Distinction". It is currently only available on the War Thunder Market.
- Maxim Gorky — Introduced in Update "Starfighters" during the Operation S.U.M.M.E.R. 2020 event. This vehicle is currently only available on the War Thunder Market.
- MBK-161 early — Introduced in Update 1.91 "Night Vision" during the Operation "Shipyard" event and was obtained by assembling parts. It is currently only available on the War Thunder Market.
- MPK Pr.122bis — Introduced in Update 1.87 "Locked On" during the Battlefield Engineer event and was obtained by exchanging one "Voucher". It is currently only available on the War Thunder Market.
- MPK Pr.201K — Introduced during Update "Winged Lions" as a reward for the 2021 Operation W.I.N.T.E.R. event.
- Neustrashimy — Introduced during Update 1.97 "Viking Fury" as a Golden Eagle () premium. This vehicle was removed from sale with the restructure of the naval tech trees in Update "New Power" and is currently unobtainable.
- Pr.1124 MLRS — Available in a discontinued pre-order pack which also granted access to naval forces pre-beta testing sessions. It was removed from the Gaijin store once naval forces closed beta testing began in Update 1.79 "Project X". This vehicle is currently unobtainable.
- Stroyny — Introduced in Update 1.79 "Project X" as a pre-order pack that granted access to naval forces closed beta testing. It was removed from the Gaijin store after the 2019 summer sale but has been brought back since the Russian Navy Day event for purchase with Golden Eagles (). This vehicle was removed from sale again with the restructure of the naval tech trees in Update "New Power". It has been temporarily made available made available for purchase in-game with during for certain mini-events, but is currently unobtainable.
- TKA-106 — Obtainable as a reward during the 2020 Victory Day event. This vehicle is currently unobtainable.
- Voroshilov — Introduced during Update "Ixwa Strike" as a reward for Battle Pass: Season III, "Strength athletics".
- Ya-5M — Obtainable as a reward during War Thunder's 6th anniversary event and War Thunder's 7th anniversary event. This vehicle is currently unobtainable.
Great Britain
- Dark Aggressor TD — It was introduced during Update "New Power" as a reward for watching reward War Thunder streams on Twitch.tv from 11 December 2020 to 14 December 2020. This vehicle is currently unobtainable.
- Fairmile D (5001) — Introduced in Update 1.83 "Masters of the Sea" as a pre-order pack that also granted access to British fleet closed beta testing. It was removed from the Gaijin store after the 2019 Victory Day sale. This vehicle is currently unobtainable.
- HMCS Haida — Introduced in Update 1.83 "Masters of the Sea" as a pre-order pack that also granted access to British fleet closed beta testing. It was removed from the Gaijin store after War Thunder's 7th anniversary sale, but it was still available on the Steam store until sometime during War Thunder's 8th anniversary sale when it was removed from sale. This vehicle is currently unobtainable.
- HMS Mohawk — Introduced during Update "Direct Hit" as a reward for the 2021 Export Order event. It is currently only available on the War Thunder Market.
- HMS Spey — Introduced in Update 1.89 "Imperial Navy" during the Operation H.E.A.T. event as a reward for obtaining 5 "Marks of Distinction for sailors". It is currently only available on the War Thunder Market.
- HMS Tiger — Introduced in Update 1.87 "Locked On" during the Battlefield Engineer event and was obtained by exchanging two "Vouchers". It is currently only available on the War Thunder Market.
- MTB-422 — Introduced during Update "Winged Lions" as a reward for Battle Pass: Season VI, "Firepower".
- ORP Garland — It was introduced during Update "New Power" as a reward for Battle Pass: Season I. It is currently only available on the War Thunder Market.
- SGB Grey Goose — Introduced in Update 1.97 "Viking Fury" during the Space Race event and was obtained by exchanging one "turret of the Object 279". It is currently only available on the War Thunder Market.
Japan
- IJN Hayanami — Introduced during Update "Winged Lions" as a reward for the 2021 Operation W.I.N.T.E.R. event.
- IJN Kiyoshimo — Introduced in Update 1.89 "Imperial Navy" as a pre-order pack that also granted access to Japanese fleet closed beta testing. It was removed from the Gaijin store after the May 2020 sales, but it was still currently available on the PlayStation Store until sometime during War Thunder's 8th anniversary sale when it was removed from sale. It has been temporarily made available made available for purchase in-game with during for certain Japanese mini-events, but is currently unobtainable.
- IJN Yuudachi — Introduced in Update 1.89 "Imperial Navy" during the Operation H.E.A.T. event as a reward for obtaining 10 "Marks of Distinction for sailors". It is currently only available on the War Thunder Market.
- JDS Yūgure (DD-184) — It was introduced during Update "Ixwa Strike" as a reward for the 2021 Future Technology crafting event. It is currently only available on the War Thunder Market.
- PG 02 — Introduced as a pre-order premium pack in the Gaijin store in Update 1.89 "Imperial Navy". It also granted access to Japanese fleet closed beta testing. It was removed from sale after the 2020 New Year sale . It lost its gift vehicle status when it was reintroduced later in 2021 as a premium vehicle purchasable in-game with Golden Eagles in Update "Ixwa Strike".
- Type K-8 No.13 — It was introduced during Update "Hot Tracks" during 2020 Operation W.I.N.T.E.R. event. This vehicle is currently unobtainable.
Italy
- Freccia P-493 — Introduced in Update "Starfighters" as a reward for the Operation S.U.M.M.E.R. 2020 event. This vehicle is currently unobtainable.
- RN Aviere — Introduced during Update "Red Skies" as a reward for the 2021 Summer Landing event. This vehicle is currently unobtainable.
- RN Geniere — Introduced in Update "Starfighters" as a pre-order pack that also granted access to Italian fleet closed beta testing. It was removed from the Gaijin store after the War Thunder's 8th anniversary sale. It has been temporarily made available made available for purchase in-game with during for certain Italian mini-events, but is currently unobtainable.
- Sparviero — Introduced as a pre-order premium pack in the Gaijin store in Update "Starfighters". It also granted access to Italian fleet closed beta testing. It was removed from sale after the 2020 New Year sale . It lost its gift vehicle status when it was reintroduced later in 2021 as a premium vehicle purchasable in-game with Golden Eagles in Update "Ixwa Strike".
