The MTB-422 was a British torpedo boat of the Higgins 78-foot class, built in the United States. Laid down on June 5, 1942, the boat was commissioned on December 29, 1942, as PT-92. It served until February 15, 1943, when it was renamed RPT-8. It was scheduled to be transferred to the USSR under the Lend-Lease program. However, due to the cancellation of spring convoys to the Soviet Union, five boats (PT-88, PT-90 to PT-94) were transferred to the Royal Navy. There, they were modernized and served the British fleet for a year and a half. They were decommissioned in November 1945. In 1947, the boat was transferred to the Italian Navy, where it first served under the index MS-841 and then MS-441. The boat was withdrawn from the fleet on October 31, 1985, and scrapped for metal.
The MTB-422 was introduced as a reward in Battle Pass Season VI, "Firepower". The boat stands out in combat for its speed and maneuverability. However, it has weak torpedo armament and awkwardly placed 20 mm and 40 mm guns in the stern.
