The BM-13-16 had 16 rockets and was used on a variety of different Lend-Lease vehicles such as the [[BM-13N]] using the Studebaker US6 chassis. By 1942, 56% of the Soviet Katyusha regiments were using the BM-13 launcher design. After World War II, it was replaced by the [[BM-14-17|BM-14]].
