Effective damage

The TT-250 has the capability to destroy any tank in the game, even those that are large and very heavily armoured. The direct high explosive damage dealt on impact is enough to instantly destroy a Maus, so any other tank stands little chance of survival. There is a degree of splash damage, although it is generally only effective against small and lightly armoured vehicles. Any direct hit to a tank is very likely to destroy whatever it hits.

Comparison with analogues

The TT-250 is largely unlike any other rocket in the game, and thus effectively has no direct analogues. However, there are other rockets that are used in a similar manner, only not to the same degree of effectiveness.

  • M13 Rocket - The M13, used on the BM-13N, has similar constraints as the TT-250 such as a minimum elevation that is a positive angle. The BM-13N does have 16 rockets although they only have around 5 kg of explosive mass, which can still devastate lightly armoured vehicles, but will struggle to defeat large tanks and may need multiple rockets to disable or destroy them.

Pros and cons

Pros:

  • Incredible destructive power which can destroy nearly any vehicle with a direct hit
  • Splash damage capable of inflicting severe damage on lightly armoured vehicles with a near miss

Cons:

  • Minimum elevation of launcher prohibits direct fire, giving a minimum range of nearly 0.25 km
  • No guidance system and only two rockets available, meaning that aiming is both very difficult and missing is extremely punishing
