The ▄Hudson Mk V is a Rank II premium British bomber with a battle rating of 2.3 (AB) and 2.0 (RB/SB). This aircraft was introduced in Update 1.63 "Desert Hunters" and costs 700 Golden Eagles.

Pros and cons

Pros:

  • Good field of fire for dorsal turret.
  • Can carry 8 rockets in addition to the internal bomb bay.
  • Internal bombay can accommodate 4x 250lb bombs and 6x 100lb bombs.
  • Can fly on one engine.
  • Forward-firing fixed guns means the ability to strafe soft targets (e.g.: unarmoured vehicled, artillery, AAA, etc.).
  • Very fast for a bomber.

Cons:

  • Low amount of gunners means vulnerable if they're knocked out.
  • Controls lock quickly in a steep dive (MA tested).
  • Flaps tear off easily above 330km/h.
  • Only two fixed forward-firing guns.
