Main armament
Give the reader information about the characteristics of the main gun. Assess its effectiveness in a battle based on the reloading speed, ballistics and the power of shells. Do not forget about the flexibility of the fire, that is how quickly the cannon can be aimed at the target, open fire on it and aim at another enemy. Add a link to the main article on the gun: {{main|Name of the weapon}}
. Describe in general terms the ammunition available for the main gun. Give advice on how to use them and how to fill the ammunition storage.

Usage in battles
Describe the tactics of playing in the vehicle, the features of using vehicles in the team and advice on tactics. Refrain from creating a "guide" - do not impose a single point of view but instead give the reader food for thought. Describe the most dangerous enemies and give recommendations on fighting them. If necessary, note the specifics of the game in different modes (AB, RB, SB).
Pros and cons
Summarise and briefly evaluate the vehicle in terms of its characteristics and combat effectiveness. Mark its pros and cons in a bulleted list. Try not to use more than 6 points for each of the characteristics. Avoid using categorical definitions such as "bad", "good" and the like - use substitutions with softer forms such as "inadequate" and "effective".

History
The Merkava Mk4 LIC (Low-Intensity Conflict) is a modern main battle tank used by the Israeli Defense Forces. It was developed as an upgrade to the Merkava Mk4 tank, which entered service in the early 2000s.
The Merkava Mk4 LIC was specifically designed to meet the needs of the IDF in urban warfare and low-intensity conflicts. The tank was developed in response to the changing nature of warfare, which increasingly involved conflicts in urban environments, where traditional main battle tanks were less effective.
The development of the Merkava Mk4 LIC began in the mid-2000s, and the tank underwent extensive testing and evaluation before entering service with the IDF in 2009. The tank was initially deployed in the Gaza Strip during Operation Cast Lead in 2008-2009, where it demonstrated its effectiveness in urban warfare.
The Merkava Mk4 LIC has since been used by the IDF in various conflicts, including Operation Protective Edge in 2014, where it played a key role in the ground offensive in the Gaza Strip. The tank's advanced armor, armament, mobility, and electronics made it a formidable weapon in urban environments, where it was able to engage enemy forces with precision and accuracy.
Today, the Merkava Mk4 LIC remains one of the most advanced main battle tanks in the world, and continues to play a vital role in the defense of Israel.
