Description
The smallest bomb in the game carried by a selection of Russian Aircraft, with and explosive mass of only 3.7 kg with a maximum penetration of (also) only 37mm, making it almost uselesss towards heavy and medium tanks unless dropped accurately upon the tank. Its low explosive mass and penetration means it can is best used for boming ligh targets like AAAs and low B.R Tanks, e.g: the M22 Locust light tank or the SU-5-1 tank destroyer. The lack of use of this bomb means that it is not as well known as other bombs like the SC50 (50 kg) .

General info
Tell us about the tactical and technical characteristics of the bomb.
Effective damage
Describe the type of damage produced by this type of bomb (high explosive, splash damage, etc)
Comparison with analogues
Give a comparative description of bombs that have firepower equal to this weapon.
Usage in battles
Can be used against SPAAs, artillery (especially in low B.R matches), or armoured cars. Its low explosive mass and penetration deems it useless against most armoured targets and bases.
Pros and cons
Summarise and briefly evaluate the weaponry in terms of its characteristics and combat effectiveness. Mark pros and cons as a list.
Pros:
- Very light and available to carry in relatively large quantities
- Good for destroying light tarkets like SPAAs and low B.R Tank Destroyers
Cons:
- It has a miniscule explosive radius of 3.7kg, meaning it is useless for bombing enemy Bases and tanks.
- It has a very small maximum penetration of 37mm, making it near useless against Heavy and Medium tanks: you might as well use a M4 (37 mm) aircraft gun.
History
Examine the history of the creation and combat usage of the weapon in more detail than in the introduction. If the historical reference turns out to be too long, take it to a separate article, taking a link to the article about the weapon and adding a block "/History" (example: https://wiki.warthunder.com/(Weapon-name)/History) and add a link to it here using the main
template. Be sure to reference text and sources by using <ref></ref>
, as well as adding them at the end of the article with <references />
.
Media
Excellent additions to the article would be video guides, screenshots from the game, and photos.
