Description

The 533 mm 53-39 was a Soviet torpedo introduced in 1941. It's an upgraded version of the first torpedo of the Soviet development, the Model 53-27, based on lessons learned from reverse-engineering Italian 533 mm torpedoes, and thus: sharing similar characteristics - notably high speed and short range.
