General info
Survivability and armour
This vehicle´s intended design leaves us with only 12.7 mm. of armor at a 59° angle slope in front hull, Side hull is only protected with 9.5 mm. And the strongest part being the gun mantlet with 25 mm. plus 19.1 mm. of turret armor. As a result this vehicle is only protected against machinegun caliber fire, with the sides easily penned by heavy machine gun fire. Altough this may prove an advantage when fighting against shells with delayed fuse. The crew is very tight, so one AP shell at center mass could kill everyone inside, there are some rounds stored at the turret, and at the vehicle´s floor, bringing less rounds eliminates the rounds stored in the turret.
Mobility
While it has poor armour and survivability this vehicle excels in terms of mobility, as a wheeled vehicle it reaches 60 km/h on road in arcade with stock modules. and 40 km/h off road.
On realistic it reaches 38 km/h off road, and 55 km/h on road with 7 gears, it also has 12 km/h reverse speed on two reverse gears.
Armaments
Main armament
Give the reader information about the characteristics of the main gun. Assess its effectiveness in a battle based on the reloading speed, ballistics and the power of shells. Do not forget about the flexibility of the fire, that is how quickly the cannon can be aimed at the target, open fire on it and aim at another enemy. Add a link to the main article on the gun: {{main|Name of the weapon}}
. Describe in general terms the ammunition available for the main gun. Advise about how to use them and how to fill the ammunition storage.
Machine guns
Offensive and anti-aircraft machine guns not only allow you to fight some aircraft but also are effective against lightly armoured vehicles. Evaluate machine guns and give recommendations on its use.
Usage in battles
Describe the tactics of playing in the vehicle, the features of using vehicles in the team and advice on tactics. Refrain from creating a "guide" - do not impose a single point of view but instead give the reader food for thought. Describe the most dangerous enemies and give recommendations on fighting them. If necessary, note the specifics of the game in different modes (AB, RB, SB).
Pros and cons
Pros:
- Gun has excellent penetration for the rank
- Pintle mounted HMG is very lethal against reserve tanks and planes
- Excellent on-road mobility and handling, can outrun even the infamous BT-5
Cons:
- Wheeled vehicle, performs poorly off-road and cannot turn in place
- Thin armour
- Open top leaves the turret crew vulnerable to strafing runs, even from biplanes
- Post-penetration damage is quite poor, multiple hits may be required to destroy larger targets
- Turret traverse is rather sluggish
- Looks very similar to the USA M8 Greyhound, the lighter colored camouflage can be hard to distinguish in Simulator Battles
History
Describe the history of the creation and combat usage of the vehicle in more detail than in the introduction. If the historical reference turns out to be too long, take it to a separate article, taking a link to the article about the vehicle and adding a block "/History" (example: https://wiki.warthunder.com/(Vehicle-name)/History) and add a link to it here using the main
template. Be sure to reference text and sources by using <ref></ref>
, as well as adding them at the end of the article with <references />
. This section may also include the vehicle's dev blog entry (if applicable) and the in-game encyclopedia description (under === In-game description ===
, also if applicable).
Media
Excellent additions to the article would be video guides, screenshots from the game, and photos.
