Su-27 (Family)
Description
The Sukhoi Su-27 is a twin-engine, single-seat, all-weather air superiority fighter aircraft designed by the Soviet Union’s Sukhoi Aviation Corporation. It first flew in May 1977 and entered service with the Soviet Air Forces in 1985. The Su-27 has been exported to many countries, including India, Vietnam, and China where it was further derived as the Shenyang J-11. The aircraft is known for its exceptional maneuverability, high speed, and long-range.
