Description

Ilyushin Il-10 was a Soviet ground attack aircraft developed as a successor to the IL-2, designed as a variant on the cancelled single-seat Il-1 fighter at the end of WWII, with upgrades aimed at maneuverability, speed and addressing flaws in the Il-2 design. Soviet Il-10s were produced from 1944-54 with the Czech company Avia having a licence and their own export under the designation of Avia B-33, exported to Warsaw aligned allies and last retired in 1962 by Czechoslovakia.
