Description
The Pr.56-PLO, Blagorodnyy, 1978 (lit. Noble) is a premium rank III Soviet destroyer with a battle rating of 5.3 (AB/RB/SB). It was introduced in Update "Drone Age".
One of the Project 56 Spokoiny (lit. tranquil; NATO: Kotlin) class destroyer and being upgrade to the PLO version with enhanced anti-submarine weaponry; the 130 mm turrets and quad 45 mm autocannons will make sure it can make short work of enemies PT boats, destroyers or sometimes even light cruisers at lower tier thanks to its devastation firepower.
General info
Survivability and armour
Talk about the vehicle's armour. Note the most well-defended and most vulnerable zones, e.g. the ammo magazine. Evaluate the composition of components and assemblies responsible for movement and manoeuvrability. Evaluate the survivability of the primary and secondary armaments separately. Don't forget to mention the size of the crew, which plays an important role in fleet mechanics. Save tips on preserving survivability for the "Usage in battles" section. If necessary, use a graphical template to show the most well-protected or most vulnerable points in the armour.
Mobility
Write about the ship's mobility. Evaluate its power and manoeuvrability, rudder rerouting speed, stopping speed at full tilt, with its maximum forward and reverse speed.

Armament
Primary armament
A common feature of Soviet destroyers are their 130 mm turrets; in Blagorodnyy's case, it is armed with 2 SM-2-1 130 mm dual mount on the front and rear of the hull, thanks to the advancement of technology of its era, it has a faster traverse speed than its B-2LM mounts of previous destroyers and let alone the single B-13 mounts; the new SAP and HE-VT shell will also prove its capability of taking down enemy vessels up to light cruisers given the shots does extensive damage against their internal modules while HE-VT will make sure a no-fly zone within the range of the 130 mm guns. The 130 mm SM-2-1 turrets are also equipped with ZF-42R HE-VT shells- the sheer calibre of the gun is more than enough to scare off enemies' planes even at longer ranges or higher altitude, if any comes within its explosion radius, it is very unlikely that the plane can survive the salvos.
Secondary armament
Most destroyers at this rank have extensive anti-aircraft firepower against incoming planes and the Blagorodnyy is among the very last gun destroyers of Soviet Navy. Not only it has 4 quad mount 45 mm SM-20-ZIF mount onboard with extremely devastating firepower against planes within its range;
Anti-aircraft armament
An important part of the ship's armament responsible for air defence. Anti-aircraft armament is defined by the weapon chosen with the control Select anti-aircraft weapons
. Talk about the ship's anti-air cannons and machine guns, the number of guns and their positions, their effective range, and about their overall effectiveness – including against surface targets. If there are no anti-aircraft armaments, remove this section.
Additional armament
The base model Project 56 doesn't have sufficient ASW for submarines; in Blagorodnyy's case, since it has undergone the PLO upgrade, it has a pair of RBU-2500 depth charges at the front and a pair of RBU-36U at the rear respectively. While there aren't submarines in-game currently, the explosive content of those rockets can take out PT boats or fast attack boats right away, alternatively set enemy vessels ablaze or knock-out their modules.
The other weaponry on-board are its quintuple 533 mm 53-57 launchers located by the middle of the ship. While it might not have sufficient damage against battleships, several hits on a heavy cruiser are very likely to sink it.
Usage in battles
Describe the technique of using this ship, the characteristics of her use in a team and tips on strategy. Abstain from writing an entire guide – don't try to provide a single point of view, but give the reader food for thought. Talk about the most dangerous opponents for this vehicle and provide recommendations on fighting them. If necessary, note the specifics of playing with this vehicle in various modes (AB, RB, SB).
Pros and cons
Summarise and briefly evaluate the vehicle in terms of its characteristics and combat effectiveness. Mark its pros and cons in the bulleted list. Try not to use more than 6 points for each of the characteristics. Avoid using categorical definitions such as "bad", "good" and the like - use substitutions with softer forms such as "inadequate" and "effective".

History
Describe the history of the creation and combat usage of the ship in more detail than in the introduction. If the historical reference turns out to be too long, take it to a separate article, taking a link to the article about the ship and adding a block "/History" (example: https://wiki.warthunder.com/(Ship-name)/History) and add a link to it here using the main
template. Be sure to reference text and sources by using <ref></ref>
, as well as adding them at the end of the article with <references />
. This section may also include the ship's dev blog entry (if applicable) and the in-game encyclopedia description (under === In-game description ===
, also if applicable).
Media
Excellent additions to the article would be video guides, screenshots from the game, and photos.
