Until the introduction of the Centurion in 1953, the Pvkv m/43 (1946) remained the primary vehicle for neutralizing hostile tanks. The Pansarvärnskanonvagn m/43 (1946) is a rank III Swedish tank destroyer with a battle rating of 4.0 (AB/RB/SB). It was introduced in Update 1.97 "Viking Fury".

General info

Survivability and armour

Survivability is bad. It's most likely that you won't survive more than one hit. Additionally, if your driver gets taken out, or even worse, your engine or transmission is damaged, you can only shoot in a small area in front of the tank due to the turretless design. Your frontal armour has a maximum effective thickness of around 80 mm of rolled homogeneous armour, which won't save you at this br. On the side, you have 30 mm maximum protection, and on the rear 25 mm. Hull armour is exactly the same as the Strv m/42 EH, since they both share the same hull. Also, because the vehicle is open top, you're very vulnerable to aircraft. Even 7 mm MGs can destroy you in one or two bursts.

Mobility

The mobility of the Pansarvärnskanonvagn m/43 1946 is nearly identical to the Strv m/42 EH. Driving forward, it can easily reach 40 kp/h, even on rough terrain, so you will be one of the fastest vehicles at the cap. While shining when moving forward, the tank destroyer is painfully slow in reverse, with 5 kp/h.
