Description
The 57 mm ZIS-2 is a high velocity 57 mm towed anti-tank gun, not to be confused with the tank adapted version ZIS-4 (57 mm), or the simplified ZIS-4M (57 mm) mounted on the T-34 (Family) of 57 mm carrying tanks.

General info
The ZiS-2 has an unusually high gun velocity, one that is more akin to late war guns than the early war guns that vehicles equipped with the ZiS-2 will often face up against. This means that the ZiS-2 can often handle uptiers without issues, while its low drop makes aiming for weakspots easy.
Available ammunition
Ammunition
BR-271: A high penetration APHEBC round, however low explosive mass may require multiple shots to kill.
BR-271K: A high penetration APHE round with marginally more explosive mass than the BR-271 but worse performance against angles.
O-271: A HE shell useful for lightly armored or open topped vehicles, however due to its low explosive mass it is unlikely to be very useful

Comparison with analogues
Give a comparative description of cannons/machine guns that have firepower equal to this weapon.
Usage in battles
Describe the cannon/machine gun in the game - its distinctive features, tactics of usage against notable opponents. Please don't write a "guide" - do not impose a single point of view, but give the reader food for thought.
Pros and cons
Pros:
- Good rate of fire
- High penetration for rank
- Low shell drop
Cons:
- Low explosive mass
History
Made to counter the perceived threat of the heavily-armoured German tanks, production stopped during invasion due to the 45 mm towed gun doing the same job whilst being lighter, cheaper and easier to produce. It found new life figthing against the third generation of german heavy tanks, that the 45 mm was insufficient to defeat.
Media
An excellent addition to the article would be a video guide, as well as screenshots from the game and photos.
