The Somua SM is a magnificent French heavy tank, which brings together a mix of agility, firepower, and armor that is rarely seen at where it lies in the tech tree. This tank plays more like a medium tank with its agility and high top speed, but its armor is strong enough to bounce many shells. The main feature of this tank though, is the 100mm L/58 cannon, which has a reload of only four seconds. The Somua’s autoloader allows for this but it is also able to keep the formidable ballistics of the 100mm L/58 cannon. This article will go over the Somua in detail and describe its strengths and weaknesses.

The SAV 20.12.48 is a Swedish tank destroyer at rank III, featuring a 120mm automatic cannon. This large-caliber cannon has an incredible reload speed of only 1.2 seconds, making this tank very unique. Not only does this cannon reload quickly, but the APCBC round holds 890g of explosive filler, (for reference the Jagdtiger’s best APCBC round holds 786g), making this APCBC act almost like a HE. The amazing firepower isn’t the only thing the SAV boasts though, it also features great maneuverability, and when paired with its firepower, this tank becomes the ultimate flanker.

The Churchill AVRE Petard is a modified variant of the Churchill family of heavy tanks, this one featuring a 230 mm launcher for a Petard mortar. The mortar’s max range is only about 100 meters, forcing players to get right up close to enemies to guarantee a hit. Fortunately, the Churchill’s tough armor is strong enough to withstand a very large amount of punishment, and when you do get close enough to land a hit, the powerful Petard mortar easily destroys opponents with a single hit.
