Usage in battles

Describe the tactics of playing in the aircraft, the features of using aircraft in a team and advice on tactics. Refrain from creating a "guide" - do not impose a single point of view, but instead, give the reader food for thought. Examine the most dangerous enemies and give recommendations on fighting them. If necessary, note the specifics of the game in different modes (AB, RB, SB).

Pros and cons

Summarise and briefly evaluate the vehicle in terms of its characteristics and combat effectiveness. Mark its pros and cons in the bulleted list. Try not to use more than 6 points for each of the characteristics. Avoid using categorical definitions such as "bad", "good" and the like - use substitutions with softer forms such as "inadequate" and "effective".

History

As the delayed introduction of the joint-developed Eurofighter and dire demand for a replacement of the aging F-104S fleet of the Italian Air Force, they rented 10 Tornado ADV (F.3) from RAF in 1993 with a decade long service since Italy also operated quantities of the IDS variant. The delay continued while the end of agreement for those ADVs approached, Italy sought for an air-defense fighter alternative and placeholders from US in 2001; the agreement was signed on 15th March and these 34 jets (30 single-seaters; a twin-seater and 3 earlier blocks) were first refurbished in US then delivered to the Italy Air Force as the Peace Caesar program.[1]

As the first decade went by relatively peaceful and the eventual commission of Eurofighters for Italy, the remaining F-16A ADFs which were not written-off during service were then returned to USAF for mostly target practice purpose as the QF-16 variant.

Media

Excellent additions to the article would be video guides, screenshots from the game, and photos.
