+ | In Simulator Battles, the Leo 451 can be used as a jack of all trades aircraft, being able to maneuver like a heavy fighter allows it to fight against other twin engine aircraft or anything heavier, but the lack of proper offensive armament means that scoring hits will do little other than damage fuel and oil tank. In any kind of aerial combat the dorsal gunner needs to be used to give yourself a fighting chance, for offensive attacks this means pulling under other aircraft and firing upwards into them, but care must be taken to not put yourself infront of their guns. For defending from fighters a good tatic is to gain some altitude so that when an enemy appears you can accelerate into a dive, making it much harder for them to close the distance between you and them, and giving you time to put your deadly dorsal gunner on target, but your wing rip speed means that you can only remain like this for a little while. Turning in this plane is very good for a bomber but still subpar, but with an empty bomb bay its good enough to be able to act like a heavy fighter. For ground attack, the nose gun can be used to attack lightly armored ground targets such as trucks, while the 20mm dorsal gun can be used to take out armored cars, and the variety of bombs means you can take out tanks and pillboxes too, which means taking out entire armored columns in this plane is feasible. | ||

- 1 x 7.5 mm MAC 1934 machine gun, ventral turret (500 rounds)
Usage in the battles
Describe the tactics of playing in an aircraft, the features of using vehicles in a team and advice on tactics. Refrain from creating a "guide" - do not impose a single point of view but give the reader food for thought. Examine the most dangerous enemies and give recommendations on fighting them. If necessary, note the specifics of the game in different modes (AB, RB, SB).
In Simulator Battles, the Leo 451 can be used as a jack of all trades aircraft, being able to maneuver like a heavy fighter allows it to fight against other twin engine aircraft or anything heavier, but the lack of proper offensive armament means that scoring hits will do little other than damage fuel and oil tank.

Pros and cons
Pros:
- Dorsal gunner has large ammunition pool
- Comes included with an offensive armament
- Very maneuverable after the payload has been released
- Accelerates very fast in a dive
- Abilities allow for it to be a jack of all trades
Cons:
- Dorsal gunners main gun runs out of ammunition before the coaxial 7.5mm's
- Offensive armament is insufficient for most engagements
- Prone to engine fires
- Aircraft does not exceed in any particular role
History
Describe the history of the creation and combat usage of the aircraft in more detail than in the introduction. If the historical reference turns out to be too big, take it to a separate article, taking a link to an article about the vehicle and adding a block "/ historical reference" (example: https://wiki.warthunder.com/Name-vehicles/historical reference) and add a link to it here using the main
template. Be sure to include links to sources at the end of the article.
Media
An excellent addition to the article will be video guides, as well as screenshots from the game and photos.
