Description

The 15 cm/60 SK C/25 is a German made naval gun which was in use during the second World War, mainly on the Leipzig Class Cruisers and K Class Cruisers. It was the best of the 15cm guns the German navy had at the time.

The naval gun could carry a base fused HE shell, nose fused HE with a ballistic cap, and a base fused armor piercing shell with a ballistic cap.

The gun was designed with a loose barrel, jacket and breech piece that had a vertical sliding breech block. The naval gun weighed in at 11,970 kg, with a barrel length of 8.57m, along with a a muzzle velocity of 960m/s.

General info

The 15 cm/60 SK C/25 has a decent rate of fire being able to put a shell out every 9.75 seconds with a stock crew and every 7.5 seconds with an ace gunner crew.

With a decent muzzle velocity of 960m/s, shells wont take to long to reach the desired target. The guns have enough elevation to reach any target on the given naval maps while also having enough depression to get any PT boat that might be getting to close for comfort, that is if the secondary armament doesn't deal with them first.
