Usage in battles
Describe the tactics of playing in an aircraft, the features of using vehicles in a team and advice on tactics. Refrain from creating a "guide" - do not impose a single point of view, but instead, give the reader food for thought. Examine the most dangerous enemies and give recommendations on fighting them. If necessary, note the specifics of the game in different modes (AB, RB, SB).

Pros and cons
Pros:
- Well protected nose and pilot
- 50mm gun is capable of destroying heavy tanks(AP belt) and any kind of planes with a single shot(Air targets belt)
- Very accurate 50mm gun, if used properly
- Good climbing rate and starting possition, suitable for ground attack or interecepting bombers
- 2x13mm turret cover huge vertical angle
- Good in steep dives, has air brakes
- Can fly with one engine
Cons:
- Big plane, perfect target for enemy fighters
- Fighting other planes is requiring good aiming skills
- Can't rely much on AI gunner, no good armor
- Very slow turning speed
- 600km/h at 6750m is good, but in reality you'll be queal or slower than Su-6 at lower heights
- No additional armaments, inexpirienced pilot can waste 22 shots pretty quick
History
Describe the history of the creation and combat usage of the aircraft in more detail than in the introduction. If the historical reference turns out to be too big, take it to a separate article, taking a link to the article about the vehicle and adding a block "/ History" (example: https://wiki.warthunder.com/(Vehicle-name)/History) and add a link to it here using the main
template. Be sure to reference text and sources by using <ref>
, as well as adding them at the end of the article. This section may also include the vehicle's dev blog entry (if applicable) and the in-game encyclopedia description (under === Encyclopedia Info ===
, also if applicable).
Media
Excellent additions to the article would be video guides, screenshots from the game, and photos.
