The Me 210 Ca-1, officially the Me 210 Ca-1 nehéz vadászrepülőgép in Hungarian service, was a heavily upgraded Hungarian version of the German Me 210, featuring a redesigned airframe with an extended fuselage to fix the stability and stall issues that made it much disliked by Luftwaffe pilots, as well as much more powerful Daimler-Benz DB-605B engines. Hungarian Me 210 Ca-1s were produced at Dunai Repülőgépgyár Rt. from 1943 until it was bombed by the Allies in 1944. Unlike the Germans, the Hungarians saw success in their use of the Me 210 Ca-1, though it was as a light attack aircraft rather than a heavy fighter as Germany intended. Hungarian Me 210 Ca-1s saw service from 1943 until they were destroyed by their crews in March 1945.
The Me 210 Ca-1 was introduced in Update 2.55 "Ninth Wave". It presents itself as a powerful strike fighter and one of the best representatives of the Me 210 family. Heavy frontal armament—two 20 mm MG 151 cannons and two 7.92 mm MG 17 machine guns—provides a deadly firing solution on enemy aircraft and lightly armoured vehicles, while a versatile bomb load ranging from 50 kg to 1,000 kg gives the aircraft ample ability to deal with more heavily armoured targets. Powerful engines let it effectively evade anti-aircraft fire and perform high-speed attacks. Rearward-facing 13 mm MG 131 machine guns allow it to somewhat defend itself against enemy aircraft, but it remains a poor fighter and should rely on allied aircraft and AAA for protection.
