General information

The S-147 was a German high-speed torpedo boat of the S-100 Schnellboot class. It was laid down in 1943 at the Lürssen shipyard in Bremen-Weser, launched in September, and entered service on November 5. Unlike earlier boats in this series, it had reinforced artillery armament. The French destroyer La Combattante sank it during the Allied siege of Cherbourg on April 25, 1944.

The S-147 was introduced in Update 1.77 "Advancing Storm". The boat carries extremely powerful artillery and boasts powerful torpedoes with excellent running characteristics. However, its wooden hull makes it vulnerable to enemy fire.
