Description
The S-13DF is a variant of the Soviet S-13 122 mm unguided rocket equipped with an enhanced fuel-air explosive thermobaric warhead. It was introduced in Update 1.93 "Shark Attack" with the Mi-28N, but was later removed from the game during Update "Red Skies".
Vehicles equipped with this weapon
List out vehicles that are equipped with the weapon.
General info
Tell us about the tactical and technical characteristics of the rocket.
Effective damage
Describe the type of damage produced by this type of rocket (high explosive, splash damage, etc)
Comparison with analogues
Give a comparative description of rockets that have firepower equal to this weapon.
Usage in battles
The S-13DF should be used against armoured vehicles mostly due to their liquid explosives, being able to destroy a tank with 1-3 rockets.
Pros and cons
Pros:
- Good post-penetration damage
Cons:
- Low penetration
- Low amount of rockets
History
Examine the history of the creation and combat usage of the weapon in more detail than in the introduction. If the historical reference turns out to be too long, take it to a separate article, taking a link to the article about the weapon and adding a block "/History" (example: https://wiki.warthunder.com/(Weapon-name)/History) and add a link to it here using the main
template. Be sure to reference text and sources by using <ref></ref>
, as well as adding them at the end of the article with <references />
.
