War Thunder has a number of awards and achievements that players can achieve by performing actions in-game these can vary from mid-game Battle Awards and streaks rewarding additional SL and RP during a battle, to long-term Achievements and Challenges for prestige and Profile Icons and Titles to publicly showcase the player's efforts.
Collections — are sets of items for vehicle customization that are united by a common theme and collected in the hangar menu “Shop → Collections”. Decals and decorations can be a part of the collection. Each fully assembled collection will bring to the owner a special award which can not be obtained in any other way.
Match awards are like mini-achievements, resetting at the end of each battle to be earned anew in the next match. Some awards are needed to complete Daily missions or to win wagers. Some are earned for continuous, successive acts during a match. The player is rewarded for their ongoing efforts with silver lions.
