The Wiki team has already published an overview of the innovations from the first half of the year. Global search, vehicle collections, tips and tricks, the random vehicle and random article buttons, and support for backgrounds in Wiki profiles were added at that time, among other features. Book of Records
One interesting addition during this time was the Book of Records, a collection of vehicles with the most exceptional characteristics. Now, you can find out which tank is the fastest, which aircraft is the heaviest, and which ship has the most weapons, all in one place.
The statistics can also be broken down by nation, and record holders in their respective categories are identified by a unique icon on their card page.
Expanded vehicle card and more detailed comparisons
A large amount of new, useful, and interesting information has also been added to the vehicle cards.
- Detailed information on the weight of aircraft and ground vehicles broken down by different difficulty modes and research levels;
- Aircraft engine parameters and rocket booster availability;
- Extended data on aircraft systems, such as flap destruction speeds, G-Limit, one second burst mass, etc;
- Availability of new mechanics, such as displaying multi-vehicle complexes and the ability to dump fuel;
- More detailed data on shell characteristics and armor penetration;
- Other improvements and fixes.
New data has also been added to the vehicle comparison section, and some old parameters have been expanded upon (e.g., displaying suspended weapon options).
Improvements for content creators
Improvements have also been made to the Wiki article creation process. You can become one of them, too!
We have added a Hall of Fame that showcases the statistics of all published authors. Create articles for Wiki, and you will be featured on this page, too! Perhaps you can even beat the records of our most experienced authors.
The wiki editor now offers two- and three-column layouts, providing more flexibility in article design. For example, you can now place text next to an illustration.
In addition, some annoying bugs in the editor have been fixed. Notifications have been added so authors can be notified about new comments on their articles. The process and functionality of reviewing publication requests has been improved.
Content and Navigation Improvements
Several hundred new articles have also appeared on the wiki during this time. Many articles on game mechanics have been published or revised. Pages with all available frames and profile backgrounds have been added, as well as dozens of interesting articles on gameplay and the history of military vehicles.
