An oblong hull with sloped armor plates, a drop-shaped turret, and a long-barreled gun: you’re looking at the tank design revolution that might’ve happened in the United States in the 1950s. The T95 prototype family was used to test a wide range of unconventional and sometimes even breakthrough solutions. By that time, some traits of the future MBTs were already clearly defined, but the tanks of the T95 series strayed away from that path.
