The Kfir C.10 is a modernized version of the Israeli IAI Kfir jet fighter developed by Israeli Aerospace Industries (IAI) for the export market. Columbia is currently the sole operator of the Kfir C.10 and has been using them since 2009. Argentina has also displayed interest in purchasing Kfir C.10s and has initiated talks with Israel to discuss a possible deal in the future. Compared to the preceding Kfir C.2 and Kfir C.7, the Elta AESA radar replaces the Kfir C.7’s old rangefinder type radar and a fully revamped cockpit with two MFDs has replaced the old cockpit layout. The pilot can also use Elbit’s DASH helmet-mounted display (HMD) to lock and fire at off-bore targets.
The Kfir C.10 was introduced in Update “Storm Warning” as a reward for the Winter Tales 2024 event. With the great flight performance, nose authority, and acceleration of the Kfir C.7, the Kfir C.10 can easily outmaneuver most opponents in dogfights, and it also can easily outrun many planes that it faces. Additionally, the radar has a higher scan rate than other non-AESA radars. However, the Kfir C.10 may struggle against some 4th generation aircraft like the F-15/16, J-10, and the JAS39 Gripen which have superior maneuverability and energy retention. Engaging in prolonged fights or in fights against multiple opponents is not recommended due to the excessive speed bleed of delta-winged aircraft. The Kfir C.10's loadout improves significantly over older models of the Kfir with the addition of the DERBY missile, which is effective at close range but outmatched beyond 12–16 km by AIM-120 and PL-12. Additionally, the Kfir C.10’s low missile count (4) also limits its ability to engage multiple targets. The Kfir C.10 is best played as a dogfighter that can spearhead attacks on the enemy team in downtiers thanks to its excellent flight performance, or as a support vehicle in uptiers due to the DERBY’s poor range and the prevalence of superior aircraft that can carry better and more ARH missiles.
