USS Hoquiam was an American Tacoma-class patrol ship. Laid down in California on April 10, 1943, she was launched on July 31, 1943, and commissioned on May 8, 1944. Hoquiam patrolled the Alaskan coast until June 1945, when she was transferred to the Soviet Navy under the Lend-Lease program and designated EK-13. On November 1, 1949, however, the patrol ship was returned to the United States. From June 25, 1950, until the end of the Korean War, Hoquiam patrolled the coast of Korea. In 1951, she was transferred to the Republic of Korea, renamed Nae Tong, and served until 1973. After that, she was scrapped.
USS Hoquiam was introduced in Update 2.9 "Direct Hit". She has a large number of automatic cannons and guns, making her very effective in close combat. However, she is not as effective at long range because her main caliber is ineffective against small ships and destroyers.
