The Me 262 A-1a/U1 was a German jet fighter aircraft used during World War II. It was the world’s first mass-produced jet aircraft and the first jet-powered aircraft to see combat. The A-1a/U1 was one of several experimental variants of the Me 262 production model. To improve firepower and reliability, the standard four MK 108 cannons were replaced with a mixed arrangement of two 20 mm MG 151/20 cannons, two 30 mm MK 103 cannons, and two 30 mm MK 108 cannons. Up to three prototypes were built, but the project never entered mass production.

The Me 262 A-1a/U1 was introduced in Update 1.91 "Night Vision". It is a more versatile version of the Me 262 A-1a, and thanks to its revised armament and high speed, it can effectively engage both aerial and ground targets. However, the aircraft has poor survivability, and its maneuverability is particularly poor at speeds below 350 km/h or above 700 km/h. This leaves only a relatively narrow speed range in which the aircraft handles well.
