The R-310 was a German minesweeper belonging to the special escort R-301 series. This series consisted of twelve "R-boat" minesweepers (German: Geleit-Räumboot). One of the main differences between this series and earlier R-boats was its three-shaft propulsion system; most others had two shafts. Another notable difference was the installation of two 533-mm torpedo tubes. Thanks to these additions, the ships could not only lay minefields, but also protect convoys from large enemy vessels. Commissioned on June 10, 1944, the R-310 joined the 21st Mine Sweeper Flotilla (Räumboots-Flottille). Together with other boats, it was stationed in Kirkenes. On August 18, the R-310 escorted a convoy bound for Petsamo and sustained serious damage from Soviet artillery, but the was later successfully towed to port. In December, the entire flotilla was redeployed to Ramsund. After several more redeployments, Germany and the boats surrendered. Until early 1946, the remnants of the 21st Flotilla were used for mine clearance along the Norwegian coast.

The R-310 was introduced in Update 2.59 "Sky Odyssey". The ship boasts powerful armament and good maneuverability but has low speed and limited survivability due to its wooden hull. It differs from the R-301 in that it is equipped with an additional 20 mm gun mount.
