History

The Mark 7 nuclear bomb, developed during the mid-1950s in the midst of the Cold War, was a high-yield thermonuclear weapon deployed in various forms, including bombs and warheads for strategic bombers, with variable yields ranging from a few megatons to over 60 megatons, and it became obsolete by the late 1950s as it was replaced by more advanced nuclear weapons.
