Maybe, the issue is that it's quite time-taking and there's 198 families, so I won't be covering all for sure, but will slowly add some favorites, time permitted. As for keeping the upscaled image - it is not a good idea, it just looks bad to have such a huge image on the page, and for 30% increase in width, you get double the image size. :/ Jareel_Skaj (talk) 21:49, 2 December 2020 (UTC)

Greetings and thanks for the help, ShimakazeChan. I'm a new fish in here and I wanted to help the Wiki with my screenshots or/and any useful information. I never eddited a website before so it'll take me some time to learn, I'll be careful to not mess with the Wiki, I wish this website were more easy to eddit and even chat with other users.

Help in adding screenshots on vehicle's page

Hello again ShimakazeChan. I'm having a hard time trying to add my screenshots to Wiki's pages, unfortunately there's not a button to add screenshot/pictures, do I have to do it manually in code?

Pilots/Ace Info

Hello ShimakazeChan, I look forward to the work you are doing with the pilots. Matsuo Hagiri is a good addition, I had read about him, but had not started anything for him. If I remember correctly, he was a bit of a rebel with the moustache, much like Robin Olds! Too Bad I Can't Find Too Many Sources On Hagiri And May Have To Just Work With An Article Or 2 On Him (With One Being From WT). But Ye I Added Him Considering We Have A Plane After Him In-Game So It Makes Sense To Include Him. (Also Need To Include Chuichi Tada Ki-61-I hei Tada's, Though I Can Barely Find Anything On Him Either). Reply: Description Formats

Hello Shimakaze, I am replying to your message about page formatting, I have some follow-up comments/questions

- Description format: Apologies for editing page the descriptions, I was unaware of a change in format. Personally, I much prefer the old format, I thought it was more streamlined and concise but I will stop editing pages to the old format.

- Subheaders: I only use visual editing mode and am unfamiliar with source editing, so that is why my additions have been bolded in text mode. I've been changing existing subheaders to bold in text mode likely because I can't actually see which words will be bolded when the edit is complete.

- Template text: I will be careful to not delete background template text elements.

Questions

1. Is there somewhere that article format changes are discussed and announced?

2. Should I stop bolding subheaders using text functions and/or should I switch between modes to do so? I would prefer to keep editing mainly in visual mode but I can switch between them to better serve formats.

3. I've heard that being in the Share Program can give users more access to more direct communications with moderators. Would it be useful for me to apply to it in order to get that sort of two-way communication?

Hi again,

1. There's no public post on format changes, and to tie in on question 3, this change in format is discussed in the channels of the WSP Discord (Wiki Share Program), although this is a closed server for only current and ex-WSP members, I can ask if visitors are welcome (The Universal Wiki Discord lead under the Russian Wiki is publicly accessible, albeit I'm not in it)

2. As much as it's not a huge issue, it would be again easy in the long run, you can continue doing it the way you edit, it'll just be a small itch I'll have to correct when I overview these. I personally suggest getting more comfortable with Source editing, and previewing before saving changes, but this is purely personal preference if you want to keep using visual editor which is admittedly simpler to get used with. (Altough plenty of features and formatting gets changed/lost through visual)

3. Applying to get a two-way communication would be a possibility although WSP applications are always open, the wave of recruitment are rather slow, sporadic and can take a while before being approved.
