Boosters

Boosters are game items that are activated before battle and give a fixed increase in Research Points or Silver Lions.

How it works

You can find detailed information about each booster in a pop-up window when you hover your mouse over the booster in your inventory.

Activating the booster adds its value to the initial modifier of the vehicle's yield, thereby increasing the vehicle's final yield.

For example, let's take the BTR-152D, which has an initial Research Point modifier of 1.42, or 142% when converted to a percentage (1.42 x 100% = 142%). When the booster is activated at 500%, the BTR-152D's Research Point yield will be 852% (1.42 x (100% + 500%) = 852%).

With an active premium account, the yield of equipment increases by 50% for Silver Lions and by 100% for Research Points relative to the base yield modifier! Similarly, boosters increase the yield relative to the base yield coefficient. Simply put, the percentages between the booster and the Premium Account bonus are added together, not multiplied.

Let's take the same BTR-152D. When the 500% booster is activated and there is a 50% bonus for a premium account, the vehicle's yield will be 923% (1.42 x (100% + 500% + 50%) = 923%).

Classification of boosters

By coverage

There are boosters that increase the yield both for the player who activates them and for their entire allied team.

Boosters that affect all allies in the team have the notation ‘(all allies)’ in their name. By activating such a booster, you can reward your allies with a pleasant bonus in the form of additional Research Points or Silver Lions.

By bonus size

Boosters that increase the yield only for the player who activates them can provide a bonus ranging from 10% to 800%. Boosters that affect the entire allied team can provide a bonus of 10% or 22%. The exact value of the bonus received and the currency to which it applies can be seen in the booster image or by reading its description.

By duration

The booster can give a bonus for one battle or for several battles. To find out how many battles the booster is valid for, hover over it and look at the description to see the number of ‘missions’ during which it is valid.

In battles that last longer than 30 minutes, every 30 minutes counts as a separate battle. (For example, in a battle that lasted 1 hour and 20 minutes, a booster for 1 battle will only be effective for the first 30 minutes of the battle, and a booster for 10 battles will be effective throughout the entire battle, but 3 battles will be deducted from it).

Boosters also have an activation time, which indicates how long the booster will remain active after activation. After the activation time expires, the booster is deactivated and disappears from the inventory. You can find out the activation time of an booster in its description under ‘activation time’.

Boosters may also have a limited activation period! The booster must be activated within this period, otherwise it will disappear from your inventory. The time remaining until the booster's activation period expires can be found in its description under ‘Valid for’. Boosters with ‘Premium Booster’ status have no activation period restrictions.

Boosters are usually valid for 3 days!

Ways to obtain

Boosters can be obtained in one of the following ways:

  • Reach a certain level in the battle pass;
  • From trophies for daily logins: 1 booster can be obtained from the daily average trophy, and up to 5 boosters can be obtained from the large trophy given once every 7 days;
  • Purchase with Golden Eagles in the in-game item shop;
  • Purchase a booster or Combat Trophy with boosters in the War Bonds shop;
  • Obtained from a combat trophy received for completing Special Tasks purchased in the War Bonds shop;
  • Obtained from the World War Trophy for the first battle of the day;
  • Receive as a reward for one of the prize places in a tournament;
  • Boosters can also be obtained during various events.

Summing up several boosters

It is worth remembering that every second and subsequent simultaneously activated booster of the same type (in terms of coverage and currency) loses significantly in efficiency, so it is more profitable to activate them one at a time.

Number of activated boostersPenalty
1No penalty
240%
360%
480%
5 and all subsequent ones90%

The penalty imposed on boosters is not in order of activation, but in order of increasing bonus. That is, if you activate a 10% booster first and then a 15% booster, the penalty will be applied to the 10% booster. If the duration of the 15% booster ends, but the 10% booster has not yet ended, the penalty on the 10% booster will be removed.
