The FV510 Warrior is a British infantry fighting vehicle developed to replace the FV430 series of armoured vehicles used by the British Army. Development of the IFV began in 1972 and it entered service in 1987, with around 1,000 units produced. However, in 2021, the UK Ministry of Defence abandoned plans to modernise the Warrior, intending to replace it with the Boxer armoured personnel carrier by the mid-2020s. The vehicle has been used by British forces in operations in the Persian Gulf, Iraq and Afghanistan, and has also been exported to Kuwait.
The Warrior was introduced in Update 1.81 "The Valkyries". It can serve as both a reconnaissance vehicle, fighting from ambush, and a fast, aggressive vehicle with ATGMs for flanking manoeuvres and capturing objectives. It also has a Thermal imager, which helps with finding enemies. However, it lacks a stabilizer which severely limits Warrior's combat effectiveness.
