Copyright images

Greetings CaID. Wonderful information you are sharing about the French machine guns. Could you please demonstrate that the images you uploaded (1 and 2) recently are either shareable under their copyright terms or are public domain work? Those image are from French military development and military manual who was since been publicly release and are for serial decade subject to any copyright. the original of those image can be found in Châtellerault's archive where all documents can be freely copied under certain condition, in which of is to share a part of the monetary benefits in the case those information might led to a commercial usage. from the moment a french military documents is unclassified, it end up in one of the archive services from which point they are considered as public domain and no more subject to any proper copyright. https://www.servicehistorique.sga.defense.gouv.fr/en/centers-shd/chatellerault-centre-des-archives-de-larmement-et-du-personnel-civil
