The M1128 Stryker is an American wheeled assault gun. Developed by General Dynamics Land Systems and General Motors Defence, it is based on the Canadian LAV III Kodiak armored personnel carrier and entered service with the U.S. Army in 2006. The Stryker’s hull is made of steel armor plates reinforced with ceramic plates, which provide protection against 14.5 mm machine guns. Additionally, a "Slat" armor kit can be installed, consisting of slatted screens positioned 400 mm from the hull to protect the vehicle from ATGM and RPG hits.
The vehicle is named after two American servicemen who were posthumously awarded the Medal of Honor: Stuart S. Stryker, who died in World War II, and Robert F. Stryker, who died in the Vietnam War.
The M1128 Wolfpack was introduced in Update 2.23 "Apex Predators". Its main differences from the standard M1128 are the absence of slat screens around the hull sides and its unique forest camouflage. Essentially, it’s the same Stryker with good dynamics, light armor, and decent armament.
