From the beginning of its development, the CV 90 was designed to be versatile. It could mount different turrets and hull could be modified if required. In 1993, when the CV 90 went into mass production, its manufacturer, Hägglunds, collaborated with the French company GIAT to create a light tank. The result was the CV 90105 TML, distinguished by its TML 105 turret, which featured a thermal imager, a modern fire control system, and a Galix smoke system. The prototype was first shown to the public in June 1994 at the Eurosatory exhibition, but didnt attract interest.
The CV 90105 TML was introduced in Update 2.49 "Tusk Force". Despite the similar name, the TML has little in common with the CV 90105; it lacks an automatic loader and stabilizer. Nevertheless, it is a fast vehicle with a thermal imager, laser rangefinder, and decent ammunition. Its armor is unchanged from that of other CV 90s and remains weak.
