The Mirage 2000D-RMV is an upgraded version of the French multirole aircraft designed to extend its service life. In 2015, Dassault launched the Rénovation Mi-Vie (RMV) program to modernize the aircraft by equipping it with new avionics that expanded the range of available weapons. A demonstrator aircraft was presented at the 2017 Paris Air Show, and the first prototype, based on a production aircraft, was presented in 2019. Test flights continued until 2021, and production aircraft began arriving at units in 2022. A total of 55 aircraft are expected to be modernized by the end of 2024, enabling them to remain operational into the 2030s.

The Mirage 2000D-RMV was introduced in Update 2.41 "Firebirds". The most notable improvement over its predecessor, the Mirage 2000D-R1, is its expanded arsenal, which includes GBU-48, GBU-49, and GBU-50 guided bombs with combined satellite and laser guidance, as well as the new DAMOCLES targeting pod. The RMV retains the weapons of its predecessor and remains a specialized attack aircraft, weak in air combat.
