In the 1990s and 2000s, as the Hawk T Mk 1 and Mk 1A fuselage lifespan was nearing its end, the Royal Air Force carried out a large-scale Fuselage Replacement Program (FRP). This program involved replacing the entire central and rear sections of the aircraft. Despite some visual differences, the Hawk's performance characteristics remained unchanged. The Hawk T Mk 1A remained in service until the early 2010s, when it was phased out alongside the basic Hawk T Mk 1.

The Hawk T Mk 1A (FRP) was introduced in Update 2.59 "Sky Odyssey". It is a small, lightweight aircraft designed for attacking ground targets with a limited range of external armament. Its flight characteristics are very similar to those of the Hawk 200, differing only in weight and engine power. However, since it faces less dangerous opponents, the Hawk can effectively counter them in a dogfight.
