General information
The VS-10 was an experimental, large, German torpedo boat equipped with hydrofoils. Laid down in 1942, it was built as an improved design of the experimental German hydrofoil minelayer VS-8. Its hull was made of composite materials, and the boat was powered by four Isotta-Fraschini aircraft engines working in pairs on two shafts. However, in 1944, just days before the start of sea trials, the VS-10 was destroyed by Allied aircraft. Depending on the outcome of these trials, another such boat, the VS-14, was planned, but this did not happen due to the loss of the VS-10.
The VS-10 was introduced in Update 1.77 "Advancing Storm". The boat has relatively high survivability and maximum speed but weak armament and unremarkable maneuverability.
