The AMX-13/90 C90 is the second variant of the AMX-13 light tank family. The AMX-13/90 C90 uses a bigger, low-pressure 90 mm CN 90 F2 tank gun, similar to how the Panhard Engin Blindé de Reconnaissance (E.B.R.) Modèle 1951 was modified to become the Modèle 1963 Revalorisé. It was designed to compensate for the French Army's lack of anti-tank capabilities at the time.
Introduced in Update 1.75 "La Résistance", the AMX-13/90 C90 is an excellent scout and flanking vehicle due to its good speed and excellent handling. The AMX-13/90 C90 is slightly difficult to operate at range, with the OCC 60-62 round only having a muzzle velocity of 950m/s. To perform successfully on this vehicle, you must target weak points, ammunition racks, and crew members while maintaining an active awareness of your surroundings and excellent map knowledge. Finally, as aircraft weapons advance, threats from hostile aircraft become more common; thus, strafing from enemy aircraft will commonly result in vehicle damage or annihilation. The AMX-13 is inappropriate for close combat and should only be used in open spaces due to the lack of a stabilizer. With its fast reload, you may easily dispatch a large number of enemies.
