Profile icons

Could you please provide some source for the removed icons in this edit? https://wiki.warthunder.com/index.php?title=Profile_icons&diff=168660&oldid=168655&diffmode=source Thanks, --Colok76286 (talk) 15:59, 25 October 2023 (UTC)

Yes, those were taken from past datamines on minor patches here and here. --Indo_Pilot (talk) 14:28, 28 October 2023 (UTC)
Thanks a lot. --Colok76286 (talk) 15:01, 28 October 2023 (UTC)

There seems to be confusion on the translation of "Removed". Your source and evidence are the exact reason why data mining is against TOS. I'll better help explain this and why data mine feed isn't a credible citation.
Modern Woman Pilot was released with Apex Predators on 20 December 2022. It was edited on 28 December 2022 making minor changes to the photo, and NOT being removed, however, edited. The icon never was removed, it was minorly edited.
Modern Chinese Pilot was released with Direct Hit on 7 September 2021. It was data mined on the 7th of September 2021 at 1:12 am EDT with pre-released version 2.8.0.34; however, 2 hours and 44 minutes later at 3:56 am EDT the official Direct Hit version was data mined showing the icon with no goggles and the red star. Making it officially the only version to be in the game. The icon with goggles was never in the game.
You are suggesting minor edits to icons constitute them being classified as "removed". If that was what we were doing, then I need to include every single icon that has been tweaked and remastered over the years and include them in the Removed section which would just create clutter. The icons I already have in the Removed are actually removed icons that weren't minorly tweaked with no one noticing. They were in the game for a while, then randomly disappeared and not being replaced months later. And their replacements are noticeably different and don't require an eye exam to see they're different.
So now that I set this straight a Minor Tweek to a photo doesn't make it "Removed" since it was never "Removed" it was edited. and the other icon was never in the game officially.
Thank You for understanding and hope this stops the ongoing of vandalizing a wiki I've been crafting and making it easy to read and understand. --BlockbusterVHS (talk) 11:30, 1 November 2023 (UTC)
